I started last year out, new, by being a "numbers guy". Analyzing my throws, the courses available to me, and what discs would compliment my play style the most. But, some of the discs wouldn't do what I thought they should, including a few that literally seemed to do the opposite. I kinda chalked-it-up as just me not being very consistent across the course...
Then one morning over my coffee, I stumbled upon a " Flight Numbers Don't Matter" video... LOL... What ??? They Don't ?? I then proceeded to watch video after video... and laughed, and frowned, and basically came to the understanding that: Like the Pirate's Code, They're really more of a guideline than a factual frame of reference. Loved all that you did. The same with "The Plastic is in the Details", and others. Revelations, all. Just Awesome content.
Now, to be completely transparent, I still look at the numbers to give me a general idea of their theoretical behavior, and also keep track of how certain companies' discs perform relative to THEIR numbers... But I no longer take them as any sort of Gospel. And, It's made me a better player.
Keep up the great work. Love the content, and the outtakes. Like a good old Jackie Chan movie.

Ahhhh, you mentioned my hilarious slip-up! Even though I'm still embarrassed I forgot your name when I made that reddit comment, it's awesome to see you use that in a video haha! In my defense... I was so excited to mention you in that thread, I didn't want to waste time going back and checking (that's my story and I'm sticking to it 😀). Now I just have to try and explain this whole story to my beautiful wife. On a serious note - you and your production team/support system are all truly wonderful human beings, and I can't wait to see what's in store for 2024!

The videos Six Sided is putting out are some of the best in the entire Disc Golf genre. Your stuff is high-quality, interesting, and informative. I look forward to everything you put out. I first heard of Six Sided when I did a Google search for companies that sell mystery boxes. I ordered a custom box from you guys two years ago and I was super satisfied with the entire process. Keep up the great work and good luck in 2024 and beyond.

You do a very good job with your videos and looking forward to more in 2024 and beyond. My first DGPT event was Idlewild. Sounded like that was early for you to. I have played for decades but only taken it a little serious the last few and very serious the last 2 and developing my game knowledge of EVERYTHING DG. Your videos are very useful and I’ll have to find an excuse to buy some stuff from you in the future.

Thanks very much for answering my questions! I’m learning to do videos for work, currently using a company-issued iPad with InShot (the free version) for editing. Your comments about not overspending are well-taken. Also, your experience making the 5,000 throws video was insightful and funny. As always, a great video with a lot of food for thought. I've thought about buying a bunch of discs and renting them out with a nice deposit in case they don't return. We need businesses like that cause too much money is wasted on disc jumping.
One thing I've always wanted to see is a disc demo by people with average arms. It's certainly interesting to see a 900+ ranked player throw different discs. But it doesn't tell me much about how any of those discs will fly for an average player (let alone a noodle-arm like me).

Can't get a Lobster? Just get a MANA instead. They're practically the same, except the Mana is just a hair less understable hence could last longer - see a couple vids that Part Time Disc Golf posted on that, where he throws a front 9 and back 9 with the 2 to compare them.

I think it was a brief comment about the fact that we aren’t engineers. Now that we’ve seen videos of 3 different robots in the last month or so…doesn’t seem as far fetched lol
