UPDATE: Even when some beds might be working in ratholes in your single player session, no beds inside of ratholes are working on actual official pvp servers. I tested that a lot and the exact location that would be working in single player was not working anymore once i tested the same spot on official servers. Wildcard is incompetent. Their anti mesh system is incompetent. And thats what ultimately killed rathole base spots in ARK once and for all...
And on unofficial?
It would be a nice game but Wildcard just destroying it with anti-mesh and the cryo change

Can build the rathole and use small TP to get in and out.
So not useful for a rat, but useful for a tribe in one of the caves.

@@laui9203 the biggest thing is not being able to uncryo unless your own fridge is nearby, if they spam their own cryo fridges you wont be able to throw any dinos up into it.

Scortched earth, more like mesh hole city. Like who play tested this map and said its complete. Red ob mountain on top is missing a rock mesh and you can just walk into the mountain. Curious what the center looked like for them to say nah not ready yet lol

If you also noticed that ASA could play in the past from ASE because look at the Church Cave, everything is still almost intact
I found a busted rathole similar to the Valguero ice rathole with the long crouch and I’ve been watching every video making sure no1 has exposed it😭

another issue ive seen with se is thylas cant jump if u jump with a thyla u just jump in place like ur hitting an invisible wall, and sometimes when climbing cliffs/pillars theres areas where you will be climbing on nothing and u will be standing on invisible rocks
Tek rifle caves down is a thing of the past, turrets are placed on terrain now and take no damage. I think WC needs to change this

they got the biggest mesh protecion and my hard uw stil got meshed on smalls after months of progresss that went in there... they should start working on asa 2
so true! almost all caves are getting meshed frequently so their stupid anti mesh system is not even preventing actual mesh attempts...

Haven’t played ASA but do people find it “better” than ASE, as in ASA’s pros outweigh its cons? It looks like building in ASA is easier but also far more limited, whereas in ASE, building was so broken anything was possible with the right knowledge which I enjoyed a lot. I find the stance WC takes against ratholes so odd. I’d say they’re crucial for the game, of course they should be balanced like every other aspect but saying “there’s no place for them” ain’t it. 😅
I didn't even get hyped for ark 2 cuz I knew better...I'll buy asa next spring or wait till gen 2...which is projected to be 2026...I'll be on gta 6 by then lol. Pc life

Hey ROTA, there is 1 working method to spawn in a bed in a rathole. This IS exclusive to island as of now, but you can spawn on an underwater rathole that is close enough to a pearl cave
taht rathole is fixed afaik
I tested a lot too all bed spawns not working on official / smalls, even when tested on a single player official it works but when you go multi it won’t Gg wildcard
Ratholes will get patched just like on the Island.

the SE ratholes will also be patched at some point, yes. but i think wildcard is aware of ratholes beeing a big part of why smaller tribes, solos, duos enjoyed playing ase. im also pretty sure they are just "fixing" ratholes in asa cause they have this super bad anti mesh system and it would be too much work fixing the anti mesh. its less work closing the rathole spots instead..
@@R0taderp they should just leave rat holes not being able to spawn in them makes em balanced and a trade off i only play in rat holes.

They fckud up the game for a large number of players who don’t have a full tribe to take one of the big caves
Hey rota the rathole ur mate found is the entrance method with a grapple? (you might be able to build up in to it but grapple crouch worked fine for me) if so can i show the spot to you to verify?
The thing blocking the beds are looking for open view and the rest, like caves, are exceptions. There are rat holes that are obvious now, you'll have to find them yourself and you can make beds to spawn in, just read this message clearly and figure it out.

I've quit ark but I wanted to check out SE lastnight. Obviously rush an argy and it's a level 1 that gets zero XP and glitches out anytime you ride it with any weight. Had a good laugh and logged out till the next map 😂
We should make a mega alliance to hunt down the hackers who are killing this game, we are from small and we are only looking for allies to remove these rats that make Ark a worse game. good video ;)

WC is such a joke. They genuinely have no idea as to the metas of their own game to the point where every "improvement" is either nerfing something that wasn't broken or making something the community was begging to be nerfed even more broken. One of the biggest problems (aside from cheating) in my opinion on ASE was the fact that it was too hard for small tribes to compete with the megas and now they have completely eliminated this entire subculture of the game with their trash new anti-mesh.
I would be fine with it if it actually stopped meshing but i guarantee you I could mesh nearly every cave on the island at least with next to no problem. It's so frustrating to me because the worst devs I have ever encountered have the best game concept and they're totally killing it with their incompetence.
Either way love the vid R0ta, thank you for pointing out everything wrong with this game, keep up the awesome content.

Tbh i personally dont think these rat holes were added on purpose they released scorched much earlier than they was ready.
I actually found a few ratholes that allowed me to spawn in bunk beds (not simple beds though)

@@R0taderp you might be right. after further testing I am just more lost. Some times both beds work some times they don't. Gonna have to do more experimenting later.

@@IchBinCurre it is bad as u can still mesh basically every cave in this game. as u could see in the video u can even accidently fly into the mesh without any problems. its not fixing the actual meshing but preventing players from building legit base locations....

cant throw cryos makes caves un raid able and that takes away alot of the games fun you can attack people but they cant attack you because you have the best cave
I would love to know which ones they are going to patch and ones they arent so i can figure out which one to put my time into if any ..... there is one decent one from ase but if some of these arent patched they could potentitally be better so i dont even know at this point.
the one at 410 i thought it was in ase ....i might be wrong but yea... crazy that cant spawn in beds its bad for moving materials through the ob and if ur ina actually rathole it might also be a pain ... but to wildcard a lot of the island ratholes i guess were op so they will patch the hell out of these ones.

immerhin schlage ich mich nicht mehr mit dem game rum xD bin aber wieder am überlegen zu spielen und wieder aufs builden zu focusieren xD

An alle im Moment spiele ich ark survival evolved mit lowsten setting und fps ini mit 20-50fps denkt ihr ich kann asa mit allen fps commands egal wie hässlich es wird spielen also pvp

unwarscheinlich, ich hab ASE früher auf einer NVIDIA 1050 ti gespielt und mit INI ca 60/70 fps rausgeholt stabil. ASA aus neugierde dann auch auf meinem alten Gerät mal angezockt und bin nicht über 20 fps gekommen egal wie sehr ich commands und settings verdreht habe... wenn du ne 20er serie oder so hast kannst du vllt 25/30 fps rausholen aber ich spiele jetzt auf ner RX7600 XT und bin auch nicht immer am frame limit wenn discord, browser und spotify/netflix nebenbei laufen. Cheers tho und viel Glück

Why are we still playing this game? They’re just going to continue to make bad updates and DLC content for a game that is far worse than the original. They broke cryos, they broke foot PvP, they delay and delay yet all of you still play the game and give them money for unfinished product that they even stated was a CASH GRAB. I don’t understand. They should have just fixed the first game and kept it going
I personally like a lotnof what they did ase meta was speed and pocket gigas. Atleast in asa you gotta think not just run past people and pop gigas everywhere 🤷♂️ I do agree it's a cash grab
