  • As content creators, we rely on our ability to clearly communicate ideas and information. Since the internet came into existence, we've become increasingly reliant on Google for fast and accurate answers to questions and tips about pretty much anything. In this video, I share some tips and tricks on how to Google like a pro.
The Google Search engine also offers many different options for customized searches, such as the use of symbols to include or exclude specific search terms, as well as the ability to specify or require specific search behavior. It also provides specialized interactive experiences such as flight status and package tracking, weather forecasts, currency conversions, unit conversions, and time conversions, as well as word definitions, among other things. A priority ranking mechanism known as "PageRank" is used by Google to determine the order of search results returned by the search engine.

I have a lot of dumb ideas. I tend to write them down and then revisit them from time to time. Sometimes, the world and/or my own understanding of it has moved enough to where it can now be taken to a new place. If you’d like to talk, I’d love to hear from you.
    Enjoy!

From a cognitive load theory perspective, googling is a way of borrowing information to later store in long term memory for use in deeper understanding if the information is relevant to the task or related to other schema. I am curious about your perspective on relying to heavily on google for information that you may need retrieve from long term memory to create connections between concepts to enhance your own grasp of the topic?
Great video by the way 😁

hey Danny, thank you for this POV! I would go for a sequence like Find about X topic > Google it > Evaluate the quality of the pages > Google it again > Google it deeper > Start reading > Read it again > Create flashcards on the topic > Rewrite
