Twice are just doing their own thing right now, they're not competing with anyone cuz they have nothing else to proof, they've got their legendary spot in the kpop history as one of the best groups of all time, now they are just enjoying their concerts with fans while still releasing bangers of songs. their discography is the best out of all girl groups imo. I LOVE THESE 9 GIRLS SO MUCH.

TWICE is in their 10th year, so It cannot be deniable that they are past their prime. But, they are still doing stadium concerts all around the world.
Last month, they did stadium concerts in Mexico and Brazil.
In Mexico, it was the most attended KPOP concerts with 114,000+ audience for 2 days and in Brazil, it was the first girl group stadium concerts(2 days).
and in July, it is expected that they have a record breaking concerts in Japan where at least 140,000 tickets will be sold for 2 days.
I hope they will enjoy the rest of their career without worrying low charts numbers. TWICE is a KPOP regend!

@@SerenityReacts oh haha she’s the second girl to sing! The one who travels across the stage really quickly with long black hair! She’s also the main vocal and best performer of the group (and an insane live performer and dancer) she’s the one with the super powerful vocals usually so as time goes on you’ll be able to differentiate herself really easily! :)

I know, I was also shocked when last year I was seeing Walmart was starting to get their own exclusive pack-ins (for a while, it had only been Target and Barnes & Noble in the States). K-pop (and vinyl) has really revived physical audio media sales in the US. And for collectors who also still buy movies on disc, Walmart took over as the place to go for exclusive Steelbook releases after Best Buy got out of the movie-selling business.

Asking about our favorite part, while the song still features two major omnipresent k-pop pet peeves of mine (which I’ll hold my tongue about), there’s quite lot to love here. Just as an “old man,” I LOVE the noodling synth in the chorus; combined with the drum & bass beat, it’s a strong nostalgic glimmer of the glory days of 2nd gen k-pop. Of the particular sections, my favorites are the pre-chorus A’s where they pull back on the percussion and just let the sweet melodies wash you in melancholy right before the pre-chorus B’s ramp up back to the explosive balladic release of the chorus.
Also, I truly appreciate how between this and “I Got You,” there’s a strong emphasis on partnered choreo, emphasizing this era’s themes of unity and being there to support each other.

So regarding the song structure, at a basic level, generally you have the verses and choruses. Typically the choruses have unique lyrics for each one, and that leads into the chorus, which is often the most memorable part of a song, and which usually has the same lyrics each time it comes up. A bridge is often a verse that is often the most unique part of a song, as in it really doesn't sound like any other part of the song where you've got repeated sound; generally, the bridge is a more subdued "vibe" to provide contrast as you enter the final chorus, which is the same as previous choruses but with more energy and instrumentation, so it sounds "bigger" and serves as the climax of the energy of a song. "End on a big note," as they say. So even though the final chorus is already "bigger" than earlier choruses, the effect is even further enhanced by the bridge "going lower" than any other part of the song.
A common basic pop song structure is like:
* Verse
* Chorus
* Verse
* Chorus
* Bridge
* Chorus
So where does a pre-chorus fit in? Maybe we want to get a bit fancy with the structure by having more parts than just the verses and choruses. And, of course, it slots in before the chorus, and like the chorus, often times it has repeated lyrics each instance it pops up. But why's it not part of the chorus? Because generally it doesn't contain the "main" "hook" of the song. The hook being the catchiest section, most likely to be remembered by listeners and sung along to, even if they can't recall any other part of the song.
And speaking of parts, why pre-chorus A and B? Because it's further divided into two distinct-sounded sections.
You can really just listen to a song and chop it up into sections that sound "different" to each other, and "reverse-engineer" how it's structured after you recognize the patterns.

* melancholy: feeling of mild sadness while remembering the past
* balladic: describing the form of a ballad, a generally slower, showy, big-voiced sentimental song
* partnered choreo: dance moves with direct contact and interaction with teammate, usually where at least one partner provides a support foundation for the other. (As opposed to many dance moves where, even in a group, the dance is done "by themselves" in synchronization with others performing a move that would not require the presence and engagement with another person to be physically achievable or "make sense.")

- The numbers on the elevator go from 9 (for the members) to their debut date to the date this dropped to "TIMELESS" (which is reminiscent of one of the things written on the movie theatre in the Set Me Free MV)
- The lyrics on the MV are those of the English version of song, instead of the actual translation of the Korean lyrics... the original lyrics are a lot more heartfelt and sentimental imo - they did the same for Set Me Free, idk why this is a thing. This performance video is great but i would also recommend actual fixed dance practices

"ONE SPARK" is a dance song based on drum and bass sound.
The verse, which starts with Nayeon and Jihyo with the sound of bright energy from the beginning, unfolds with a speedy beat, and feels like "I CAN'T STOP ME."
However, the atmosphere changes to a dreamy synth sound and conveys a mysterious feeling like "MOONLIGHT SUNRISE," but the atmosphere is heightened again with the voices of Momo, Jihyo, and Nayeon added to the speedy beat in the pre-chorus.
Unlike the pre-chorus, where the atmosphere is heightened, the chorus repeats the easy melody with an understated feeling.
Overall, it feels similar to "Feel Special."
It's the same format as before, but it's completely different from TWICE's songs

Twice wouldn't do that to us ONCE's they will play both I Got You and One Spark but what I'm hoping for is they play one of the members songs, my choice would be Dahyun's song she's my favorite writer in Twice although most reactors love Jeongyeon's and since she is my bias I'm not going to complain with that one either. I love the album so I actually hope they play all six of them. I'm new to your channel so I don't know if you do reactions to B-sides but if you do it's a great album. Twice choreo's are synchronized and more story telling and elegant than what I call athletic (I'm not a dancer so don't know the correct word). Check out Cry for Me and watch that performance video you don't even need to hear the words to understand the movements. OT9 forever.
