Who knows how Diana Ankudinova does what she does? But we see over and over again how she connects with and communicates, with devastating effectiveness, all kinds of emotional experiences. This is a facet of her genius.
Diana Ankudinova was always capable of performing complex songs even at that age. These days her performances have evolved gradually and are ever changing as she grows. Her songs are very inwardly expressive which gives them a whole new emotional life that only she can convey.

Diana performed the song here simply fantastically (especially considering her age - 13 years old), and with very precise accents and details - in an outfit similar to a traditional Spanish one (including such a detail as a red flower in her hair). And the performance with a fan is a direct reference to the performance of flamenco. All this was noted by the Spaniards who reacted to this performance of Diana. And about the lyrics of the song - they are very adult; I’m not a great connoisseur of Spanish, but I could make out and understand such phrases as “the smell of your body”, “the taste of your lips” and the final phrase of the last two verses (where Diana especially clearly expressed her emotions, including such as despair and pain) - “my soul is bleeding."

For what? 😊
As someone who follows Diana's career closely and has seen many of her performances throughout her young life I would say the difference between her performances now vis. when she was younger I would suggest is this: When she was younger she was trained and often competed in vocal competitions. Her performances were crafted toward impressing professional judges and making an impression on them. Many of her performances now are for more casual crowds and her goal is to make a positive, uplifting impression on her audience. She loves to spread joy and happiness and some of her performances are in front of more small initiate crowds and she often is experimenting. Where you see this now is when she is on a bigger stage with a bigger production. You can see this in her televised performances, or more "professional" performances, such as her Hanz Zimmer show, her OST song for "Baikal", and most recently, her performance of Quiet Outpost at the Nika awards, where she blew everyone away with a deeply emotional performance. She is a pro, but she loves to make people laugh and smile and knows when to "turn it on", which is a sign of her maturity as an artist.
I enjoy her more intimate venue performances. Thanks.

The concert sheet that is on the Internet it's about an hour and 30 minutes and it's really good I had the pleasure to watch it and that song she sang to her grandma that's her favorite song adopted grandma that was before your super and The Voice

The song "Rechenka" (affectionate from the word "river") is a Russian folk ritual wedding song. There is a version that this song appeared before Christianity, and since early Christianity and paganism were closely intertwined, there are many versions of this song. It tells how an orphan girl comes to the river and prays to the spirits of nature. The song is about how my mother, father and brothers were killed by enemies, there is no one to take care of her. The river in Ancient Russia was considered the border between the world of the living and the dead. You hear an ominous whisper, it's the spirit of her late mother responding to the girl's crying.
There are about 30 variants of this song, but the content of each of the variants is based on the sad appeals of the orphan bride to her deceased parents, asking them for "blessings" and help for marriage, for family, to strangers.

When I was a young adult I worked for 18 months in 'childrens homes' - orphanages - in the UK. There was not a child that came though there who, no matter the abuse they suffered, did not blame themselves for what had happened and longed to return to their parental home and be loved.
When 13 year old Diana sings this song, Mey Voy - I Go, I now find it impossible not to hear an autobiographical element. We hear the child who had been so violently abused that she was forced to turn her back on the 'beloved' to move forward and find life.
I sincerely hope, confidently hope, that the rawness we hear from 13 yr old Diana on this stage, and as you note, is missing somewhat in the later version of the song, is a sign that much of this pain has been resolved for Diana now. Actually, I have listened to this performance many times and find the pain she is able to express, particularly in the second part of the song (after the fan interlude) almost unbearable
I do hope and believe that with her early escape from that appalling situation, the love and wisdom of her new, true, family, her acknowledged help from the skilled professional child psychologists and her immersion in the creative and therapeutic world of music, Diana has been able to overcome her early trauma. One clear sign of this, I think, is that as a true artist she communicates , not from a position that is based in the self indulgence of pain and personal history - something that is often mistaken for artistic expression - rather, Diana communicates, with everyone who has a heart to hear, on the deeper level of our shared humanity, offering solace and insight to whoever is willing, or obliged, to engage with her creative soul.
As another example of how Diana is able to transmute personal, remembered pain in to a universally truth, recognised by us all, then I would recommend 15 year old Diana's performance of Blizzard (вюга) on You Are Super. Here Diana has said that she was able to use her own memory of being left in an orphanage to express the song's very adult metaphores of abandonment and loss.

Но мне кажется это было не личное,а художественное погружение- она ведь очень артистически одарена и с раннего детства играла в детском музыкальном театре!!!
Что касается песни Вьюга,она говорила,что не понимала ее,не знала как ее петь...и ей было очень трудно ее петь по причине непонимания смысла песни...тогда она, возможно включила что то личное...хотя я не помню,чтобы она об этом говорила

The music and lyrics come from a Sephardic singer from Israel, Yasmin Levy (born 1975). The song was released in 2005. Levi promotes Sephardic culture and sings in Ladino, a mixture of Spanish and Hebrew.
