Best Yajirobe moments is when he got not 1 but 2 clean cuts on Vegeta
The fact a mere untrained human that wasn’t as strong as 10,000 men like most of the z fighters actually made vegeta a literal planet buster bleed was what made him have a special place in my favorite characters. Though he has such wasted potential.
He also wanted to eat Vegeta after the slice attack haha.
@ratiohead9542 Yajirobe wasn't untrained, though. He trained with Kami along with the rest of the Z fighters in preparation for the arrival of the Saiyans. 🤷🏾♂️
Yajirobe was always very strong. Remember in early Dragon Ball Z when everyone was training at the lookout he was casually dodging/blocking Krillin's attacks while stuffing his face full of food at the same time. He could easily be one of the strongest human fighters, he just doesn't apply himself.
It's crazy to think Yajirobe is around moon level along with tien and goku at this point
It is interesting to see Yajirobe fight because he usually takes a back seat from a fight.
The truth is Yajirobe could possibly be one of the strongest members of the Z Fighters. It's his sense of self-preservation that keeps him from advancing.

yajirobe isn't a fighter! tien, yamcha, krillin, goku - all of them are fighters who have (or had at some point) a martial artist's mentality and life style. yajirobe doesn't and never did - he has no interest in training and fighting, he's just a phenomenally strong mountain man. if goku never met roshi, he'd probably have been like yajirobe later in life.

If you didn't know Goku was a Saiyan, you might think him and Yajirobi are somehow related. Both lived in the woods and both are abnormally strong. Trading blows with Goku at this point is impressive at least.

it’s so cool to watch a dbz/bds fan watch og db for the first time. it’s so much better in my opinion. og db was what i got into first because i thought anime was cringe in elementary/middle school (except pokémon) and something about the name Dragon Ball Z made me cringe extra hard and i was watching toonami one night and they were playing the red ribbon arc when bulma and krillin were in the pirate cave and after like three episodes i was hooked and was a major fan ever since. except super, i hate it.
