    Hi Behfor, can you do a video on the Guest Network on your AX router? I have seen those routers come with Guest Network Pro and would like to see what it's all about. Thank you so much!

    always good topic!
    Had similar issue 2 weeks ago.
    I am using Mesh network from Asus, in short I am using Asus router as my main WiFi and Guest network.
    I got random connection loss.
    My solution is using old random router act as guest network.
    Now it is running smoothly.
    What I learn is my AX56U almost reaches its max potential and the cheaper solution is adsing more hardware hahaha

    Hi, do you think i can use my RT-AC5300 tri band router (2x2 -2.4ghz) (2x2 5ghz) (2x2 5ghz) more like a dual band 4x4 5ghz router? I would prefer to have a bigger mimo on a single 5ghz channel and not multiple 5ghz channels

    Nice video! Like!
    In your opinion, what's better for a mesh system? Who would offer better quality of roaming? PS: Backhaul by cable.
    (a) Two Routers Asus RT-AX3000
    (b) Three ASUS ZenWiFi XD5
    So, (a) or (b)???

    -I need help...-
    -I've researched several videos, articles and even called Bell tech, including your videos, yet I'm still missing comprehending a few little things.-
    *-How can you determine choosing the perfect channel/bandwidth and why-*
    -How do I know if 80mhz is flawed due to overall interference/neighbors,
    And how do I ascertain that the chosen access point is the best channel range?-
    __________
    -Looking at the analyzer app, my 2.4Ghz (40mhz) spreads to 7 channels, 5-6Ghz (80mhz) spreads to 14 channels.-
    -... What I don't understand is how do I know which channel is best from its spread.-
    -Do I only care about the access point with the least clients, or do I also include the channels around it of the overall bandwidth.-
    -Is being near the router, far or both better/easier to determine how your bandwidth interferes with neighbors.-
    -Exactly how do I know which neighbors and channels interfere with my wifi?-
    -Only when they're above me, and/or when more are in my channels?-
    -Why should I consider lowering to 40mhz if it doesn't change much and lowers speed.-

      One core issue is that unfortunately the bell technician couldn't get the router to the first floor to spread to downstairs and upstairs in the middle. Instead, it's downstairs, secluded in the heater room, inside a wall box. Awful.
      He couldn't remove the previous cables or move his to the first floor's cable port.
      Anyway.
      If I understood proper research, I think I'd rather my house technician try to move the 3GB bell giga hub to the first floor, then buy a mesh node for the first and/or second floor.
      If I believe correctly. Mesh nodes, not mesh/etc. or any extenders is best compared to those mediocre cheap alternatives that create interferences, lag, and slow down the main router. Right?

      I finally properly learned about country bandwidth regulations from semfionwtworks which explains how to choose which channel and exactly why.
      You should do a video elaborating on that.

    How does a person add multiple routers? Do you place an Ethernet switch between your cable modem and the multiple routers?

    • @Behfor
      @Behfor Před 11 měsíci

      No, first of all you typically only need one Wireless router and you could connect it directly to the modem, any other wireless broadcasting devices you have should be connected to the wireless router ( depending on your network requirements, you can add Access Points, Repeaters or mesh nodes, but no other wireless routers). Hope that helps.

    • @redoscar540
      @redoscar540 Před 11 měsíci

      @@Behfor So in your example of the multiple wireless access points within a residence, these weren't necessarily "routers" but other wireless devices that can assist in the handling of WiFi connections for computers, cellphones, IoT, etc, to eventually be handed off to a single router within the residence? I can understand mesh nodes to extend WiFi, but maybe I don't know what else is the issue other than a lack of processing power.

    • @Behfor
      @Behfor Před 11 měsíci +1

      @@redoscar540 That's correct, you essentially need only one router and you can have as many APs as you want, this is in my opinion by far the best setup, even better than using mesh systems because you have much more manual control over the Wi-Fi settings of each AP and you can make sure they are using different channels so they would not interfere with each other, on the other hand a mesh system makes most of the decision on it's own and sometimes they are not necessarily very good decisions. I have this video which is kind of old but explains in more details the difference between the 2 system: czcams.com/video/ic0bgo_ueQ0/video.html
