Great tips Charlie and Amanda. Seems an old hockey puck would also make good shim for the swivel cam. Amanda's dolly wheel is awesome. Maybe we can talk Dynamic into offering one.

My hiking stick is the thick end of a fishing rod with the eyes removed. 39 inches. It practically weighs nothing but super tough. Thanks again for the videos Lee.

2nd this request. I have the same setup as Charlie with a jam cleat (minus the carpenter-grade wood pedestal). It is more work to sheet in, and I have to be ready to pop the sheet out of the jam cleat quickly to sheet out. I’d like to know how to replace it with a block. Thanks Lee!

Bro I think you mean DIY (Do-It-Yourself), not DYI (Do Yourself In)

Mainsheet blocks are for sissy's! (in Arnold Schwarzenegger voice) Real hockey players only use cam cleats to sheet the main! Ha ha ha!!!

True. But Real Sunfishers only use the sheet hook, and only when no one is looking :)

I noticed this as well, lol. I also play hockey and use a cam cleat. Perhaps its a thing. I feel a bit vindicated to see a top level sailor using one though. I didn't think any racers used the cleat.

To each their own! Many good sailors like to have the cleats so it boils down to preference :)
