- Florida Panthers forward Matthew Tkachuk speaks on Thursday, May 9, 2024, after his team beat the visiting Boston Bruins 6-1 in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinals the night before.

Sasha Barkov had two goals and two assists in the game; Brandon Montour, Gus Forsling, Eetu Luostarinen, and Steven Lorentz each scored for the Panthers.

This guy is worth everything we gave up and then some. His impact on the ice and in the locker room and on the team is priceless!

@@michaelbereschak9495 Tkachuk played the first 3 (or 4?) games against the Knights in the finals totally healthy. It wasn't until the game after his nasty hit on Eichel that he got flattened in retaliation, which is when he suffered the broken sternum. After that, he accomplished NOTHING on the ice, and his team LOST!
What you seem to be missing here is the emotional fallout that Tkachuk created among the Knights!!! They were clearly p*ssed that he tried to take Eichel's head off, and he inspired them to fight back. I believe this incident was the turning point of the series, which ended up with the Knights winning. I absolutely LOVED this result, as did many other hockey fans, BECAUSE OF TKACHUK!!!
Tkachuk is a coward who refuses to fight men his own size. His picking on Pastrnak could have the same effect as his hit on Eichel did last year! Tkachuk has got some very bad karma!!!!
