@@chadboyer4781 Do you want to live with Christ and to the will of God or live for yourself and do the will of God? We do constantly grow with God when we surrender everything to God. But that is indeed the key! SURRENDER! You may need a break. But the question is, is what you're doing honoring God? I like to play Counter-Strike. But does it honor God? No. It doesn't bring people to salvation either, other than when we end up chatting with people about God and then maybe there is a higher chance. But by the end of the day YOU represent God and everything you do must reflect the spirit of Christ. And playing a game where you kill people and stuff, isn't honoring God and doesn't represent the spirit of God. That would be considered disobedience I suppose.
So it's not about whether you pray or you don't pray. But whether you should be playing worldly games to begin with. Because hypocrisy is not something God likes. Relationship with God and striving after the spirit of God is what is important. If you want a life with God, then you will also long for it and do something to reach that point. Holiness or sanctification is a process. But you need to want to be more holy. If you don't want to, then that is disobedience and idolatry or idol worshiping. It's where whatever you do in life is more important to you than Jesus. So only you know if you really are right with God. And you can't hide your deepest desires from God. God will know if you are a fake or not. There are many scriptures in the Bible about taking up your own cross and follow Jesus. How much are you willing to sacrifice for God? How far are you willing to go for Jesus? Are you willing to follow Jesus? Are you even willing to follow Jesus all the way to the cross and die there?
So it's about a relationship with Jesus and not a religion. We all need to want more of what Jesus has for us and not what we ourselves want for ourselves. Christians are disciples of Christ. And yet what kind of disciples will they be if they don't want to even follow Jesus? Let alone actually live for Jesus where Jesus is in the center of our lives and everything we value. Not family or games. Jesus sees it all and Jesus knows where we are. Love will force us to do the right thing and praying will empower us. So we all need to figure out what it is that we truly want in life. Do we really want Jesus and what Jesus wants for us? Or do we not?

The attack and push back has been so real lately, I have experienced the enemy coming again basic beliefs and raising doubts and questions in my life and my friends lives. It is good to be reminded that it is just the enemy being his deceiving self and by experiencing these attacks we know we are doing something right, right? I have been at my lowest this week and then God sends a stranger who is a child of His, just opening up about her battles and I start encouraging her, telling her God's faithful and He's got this and she must keep trusting. All the while preaching to myself at the moment. The word is IN us and flows out to bring LIFE in a dark situation. It is amazing how God works - He sends me someone in need and His life flows through me, because of His great love for her - and my spirit lifts up in the process. I am humbled that He would even use me in a time that I was really battling. THANK YOU, Troy for always showing us the Grace of God, even while we fail. Its not us its ALL HIM. KING JESUS❤

I’ve experienced the doubt and loss of memory about how many times God has blessed me with miraculous events in my life. It’s so easy to step away from the mirror and forget what you look like. We lose our identity in Christ when it seems like the torrential waves of life are going to sweep us under. When we take our eyes off the One who overcomes the mightiest of storms, all the while He’s walking on water just to meet us in the middle of our own disasters. He will always pull us out of the depths of our own despair. All we have to do is trust in Him and never forget His sovereignty over all things. With that kind of trust and faith we can never be defeated, no matter how horrible things may seem.

I’ve been right there with you with intrusive thoughts and Jesus has healed me. I’m believing for your healing!
I had ocd also and I was partly delivered by the lord. I’m still in the process of being fully deliveted but let me tell you what I learned as this may help you as well. I’ve had mild ocd all my life but didn’t realize it till I got older. Once I realized it I fully embraced it and then it got so so much more worse. After getting desperate and so badly wanting to be freed from it and seeking deliverance from the Lord, the Holy Spirit came to me one random morning and freed me from several things. That day I thought I was fully freed from the ocd but then realized I wasn’t. I was freed from the demonic intrusive thoughts and the recent intensities that came from embracing it, but I couldn’t understand why I still had the baseline ocd that I had struggles with my whole life ever since childhood. After months of crying out to God and not understanding what was going on and why I was only partially free, finally after persevering it came to me by spiritual revelation. The remaining portion was from a familial curse passed down from my family line. Derek Prince had some great great teachings on not just demonic oppressions and how to be free from those but also generational and familial curses and how to be free from those. So def look him up. That’s where I’m currently at, preserving in being freed from this generational curse that comes from my dads side if the family. I believe I will have totally freedom from ocd then. My husband was freed from anxiety and adhd by following Derek princes teachings as well which came from generational familial curses as well. He gets freed almost instantly where as I have to play the long game for some reason. I know the Lord has a good purpose for it though. I pray and hope this helps you!!

For me, being open to feeling the presence of God is how I can receive it. I grew up Pentecostal so I’ve been open to it since my teen years. Some people can be carriers of His glory and we get filled with the Spirit easily.

Also, I’m glad I’m su h a weakling and just completely unable to do the work God has set me to do through my own striving, because I will never take credit for it. Wow Troy! I feel like this was just for me!! Just yesterday I watched something that had me doubting that I was truly saved because I don't hear God. I must be to sinful or not special because if I was then why haven't I had some big supernatural moment with God? But then I was thinking how worldly I used to be and how much I have changed. I literally am obsessed with Jesus. I read the word, I watch sermons, I pray, I think about Jesus all day everyday. I don't have severe depression anymore and I'm so much happier. God has changed me and he does speak to me through scriptures and different things. I thought I trusted him but one little video had me so doubtful and upset. Lord please forgive me!!! Kelbel - In the past 6 mo., I too have changed so much in my walk wJesus. I'm obsessed w/the Lord now & can think of little else.
I believe in a pre-trib rapture so I expect Him any day. This has created an urgency in me to build a closer relationship w/Him. I know a new kind of joy I've never known before. Praise our King!
@@JesusInTheClouds I 100% get it!! I also have an urgency to have a stronger relationship with Jesus!! Praise God!! He is giving all his children a little more time to get right with him.
