And Duke physically created this game along with all its animations and ability if you gi wasn’t able to do that why would the game program by the creator allow him to do that.

iRazenrak in the japanese version duke says pegasus added this himself, so he actually didnt know much about the dark magicians effects in his own game apparently lol.

As far the original Japanese version goes, he didn't actually look up to Pegasus. The guy was just prevented from signing the contract to market Duke's game because of his defeat from Yugi.

@@joedickinson6566 Actually there's more to this story. See, this isn't a typical filler but a product of manga censorship.
In the original story, Duke challenges Yugi on behalf of his abusive dad who wants to take revenge from Yugi's grandpa because in the past, they played a shadow game for the puzzle betting their ages on it, which he lost causing him to age 50 years in one night.

But what I don’t like about is under developed main character likes naruto where naruto returns from three years timeskip for him to only learn big version of a technique he used naruto didn’t learn something new unlike Sakura and Sasuke who Sakura become a great medical ninja saving kankuro while Sasuke has power enough to kill both kabuto and orochimaru

Did anyone notice that when Yami rolls the dice right before he activates Mystic Box, when he throws the dice, they're each a different color, but when they land, they're all blue?
Animation error, most likely by the japanese animators.

Mystic Box? It's an actual card, though less useful in the anime. You destroy an opponents monster but give them one of yours. Magical Hats does the same thing though.

Joey challenged Duke to a duel, and the terms of the duel was that Joey had to be Duke's servant if the former lost. Joey lost, so Duke forced him to dress in dog costume as part of his servant-hood.

When Yugi summonded his Dark Magician in this episode, it was a really awsome and surprising moment. When Yugi's most iconic monster appeared, I was really awe strucked.

it's a game, and no real characters died
Carmen Leung It was still disturbing to have the limp dead hand of Yaranzo just hanging out of the box. Like you know how the original trick goes (the swords go in and the person turns out to somehow still be alive) but you just have that extra eerie layer when you realize that the magician goes in...but he doesn't come back out. Instead he swapped places with someone who sadly....does not know how the trick works.
Ermac Macro in other scenes where the Mystic Box is used, they show the swords skewering the literal card rather the monster. I agree that the imagery here is more disturbing that normal for the dub and they normally don't show the actual monster getting stabbed
We don't actually see the body being pierced by swords. Just the arm falling. But we kids all know what happened
I never thought about that until I read this comment chain......Given their tendencies to take out certain things, or edit certain scenes, one of the more famous being giving people finger guns instead of real ones, it's a *little* surprising they kept it in.......The only thing I can guess is that they thought "Eh, it's not a human in the crossfire......Just a hologram of a monster. It's all good!"

Sadly that anime logic is exclusive to the dub; in the original, after Pegasus defeats Duke he says he'd like to add a new monster and Duke, idolising Pegasus, quickly agrees despite knowing nothing about it, not even its name.
So when Yami summons Dark Magician, Duke doesn't recognise it, leading him to wonder if this was the monster Pegasus was talking about; these inner thoughts are expressed over a flashback of the exchange.
However this was all cut from the dub, making it look like Duke intentionally programmed Dark Magician into the game but moments later forgot its abilities. 😁

Does anyone else think that Joey got what he deserved in this arc? I mean, trying to force someone to close their game shop because it might be competition sounds like the kind of thing a villain would do.

In the original comic, it never goes that far. Duke humiliates Joey with a couple of card tricks (they never played Duel Monsters in the comic), but Yami gives him a taste of his own medicine, and after that Duke and Joey never really interact.
The Dungeon Dice match between Duke and Yugi happened under completely different circumstances in the comic - Duke's dad stole the Millennium Puzzle and pretty much forced Yugi to play Duke (in the show, this was changed to Bandit Keith, God knows why).
They played Duel Monsters in the original manga on occasion.
The thing is, if Joey didn't do it, Yugi would have for his grandpa. And do you really want Yugi to sink that low? He is the main character after all.

I love how Atem was able to conjure the Dark Magician in Dungeon Dice Monsters and used abilities that are similar to the support cards.
I really would have liked to see Dungeon Dice Monsters as a real-life game. But I don't recall even that so-called Starter Pack being ever released in Finland where I live.
They tried but it didn't do well. They only released the start pack in a few countries. After seeing how bad the sales were, they gave up.
There is a GBA game called Dungeon Dice monsters. Closes will get to having a game like that.

You should watch the Japanese version. In the Japanese version he didn’t know Pegasus added the dark magician in the game when they partnered. It was a secret.
Nobody ever seems to know what mystic box actually does. Even Pegasus was surprised when it was used against him.

Put another Magical Hats under the hat with your monster, so if they attack your monsters hat, it activates another Magical Hats, increasing the hats on the field further, while giving possible protection. Trust me... I Did that before with some friends.
