Thanks for your work! I decided to move from KDE to something more convenient and came across your video. I installed the rolling release and I want to note two facts: after the update, the waybar colors do not switch on the fly when changing wallpapers, as was the case in the previous update. You have to manually re-enable the waybar theme color. Also, when installing the SSDM theme, you need to add two packages for it to work correctly, these are qt5graphicaleffects and qt5quickcontrols2.

a suggestion: not sure if you have considered that it generates the color schemes/effects automatically for any picture that is added to the wallpaper folders in the background on install, or at launch, so they are already available in the cache when you choose it from the wallpaper app. I'm still working my way through your configs because I want to first understand a little bit of everything before fully applying someone elses dot files, but this work is amazing! You should make an option in your install script that allows you to choose what dotfiles you want . . . I don't want to screw with my nvim settings. I have spent a lot of time getting them just right. I can tell from your repository you have put a lot of work into this and it is appreciated . . . it would be such a simple addition to the install script.

@@mylinuxforwork I really like what you are doing with this project. I have already shared it on a few groups . . . spreading the word. So, I am telling you this to be helfpful.
just remember . . . people who use arch are uptight nitpickers who like to have control of what we put on our systems. We may all put firefox on your system, but we want to put it there . . . we dont' want it forced on us. For how we feel about packages goes 100 fold for our config files . . . for people who aren't uptight about backing up their config files . . . one momentary lapse of attention could wipe out a substantial time commitment of customization, particularly in meovim.
P.S. It may be just me . . . but the "sugar-candy" for sddm . . . is acting problematic. It fails when cloning into the .cache/. . . directory. Might want to look into it.

Dann musst du dein Keyboard layout in der ~/.config/hypr/hyprland.conf Àndern. Da musst du "us" mit "de" austauschen.

I will start soon to port the Hyprland Starter package to fedora as the first distro on top of Arch. And then let’s see

    What about NixOS?

The complicated part is to port the installer to nixos and some atch related scripts. The configs itself should work.

These Linux boys... To be so fixated on desktop wallpapers, you must be truly sick and out of your mind... A window manager/desktop environment should do its job: allow interaction with the OS, manage windows (including files and folders), offer a convenient way to access applications, system settings, notifications, and ensure a consistent look and behavior of programs.
I often come across CZcams videos about some distribution and its DE, where the reviewer spends half of the video fixated on the wallpapers. There's something wrong with this world.

Thanks for your feedback. The great thing about Linux is the customization. Everyone can select or build a system that fits to personal preferences. And I like good looking wallpapers a lot.
