I know Nancey personally. The motel is a very successful business and they have done extremely well.
Nancey only leaves the motel twice a year to visit family south of the U.P. because the motel is that busy. Aside from renting rooms it is one of the few restaurants in the area and the cafe is full every morning. The business profit in one year nearly covers the full asking price. She isn't looking for a "pay day" financially, she's very secure. The area is up near Iron mountain and Lake of clouds. It brings in a lot of tourism especially in the winter for people who snow mobile.
The article that was written is extremely inaccurate in it's depiction of Nancey, the motel and the U.P. to the point of being offensive.

I can't afford to buy it but id sure love to help work up there.and I'm alone now and want to move to upper Michigan. Spending years is Randville area and Crystal falls. UP😊 calls me to my heart to get back up in the freesh air. Best Regards.
