The most underrated singer. Ever.
....such a torture to hear all Ross' perfect solos destroyed by Dave....faster, faster....but without Heart or Soul.....have mercy.
I agree, Dave make great riffs I love his work on triumph of steel and I know he have all abilities to play great solos. Too bad he choose high speed most time i think random notes style as you said olny faster and faster.
Notes, notes, give me notes, faster, faster.... cero sense, just tons of notes...
Yeah not a fan of his soloing
It's great how Ross still nails the old stuff effortless nowadays.
No voice is more metal than this one. He is the god of metal
He is great, or better to say was good in his prime at that time! But anyway, there is no doubt Rob Halford is the true Metal God!
Eric is godly, so is Dave Defeis of Virgin Steele and Michael Kiske of Helloween.
@@Klaus80804 Eric is better. The two need to duet
23:32 What a Scream!
26:30
Eric Adams in visceral mode, what a monster!
Whilst the Metal God Rob Halford pierces your ears like a wailing banshee, Eric Adams is the Earth-Shaker, provoker of sonic cataclysms and speakers meltdown.
I seen Manowar on the Holiday Thrash Bash Tour in late Nov of 1988 at the Hartford Ballroom and again on Dec 30th in Boston 1988 and David Shankle played at both shows with Scott Columbus... Guitars were a bit rough on some older songs but on Hail and Kill, Wheels Of Fire and Metal Warriors perfect
Nothing but pure raw energy, for nowadays times just unthinkable....
Legends.
20:20 true metal , 20:30 true epic metal
38:06 absolute Amazing!!!!
Great to see Scott and Dave on stage together, this was the only tour in this line up.
Thank you for uploading this gem.
perfect , sorry super ΤΕΛΕΙΟ
Eric Adams is a god of metal. Along with Rob.
Absolute epic!
Thank you!
38:06 SOUND THE CHARGE INTO GLORY RIDE !!!!!!!!
Thanks for the upload!!!!!!
Witnessing profound power and might. Hail!
Killer Line up!!!!
This was their definitive lineup back then. After Ross the Boss left, it changed many times.
good stuff!
Πώρωση!!!!! That's heavy metal
This couldn't have been 1988 the earliest this show could have been was 1990, because in 1988 Ross the Boss was still the guitarist in Manowar David Shankle didn't tour with them until the Kings of Metal tour
Feb 25 1989 my first Manowar show
Ross was fired from Manowar days before the release of "Kings of Metal" album.
This is most probably 1989 based on the songs selection
@@deran1983yep it's 1989
Eric Adams really makes it, really does it. Ross the Boss did anyone like nothing!
So.... I was watching Spinal Tap videos and got led to Manowar. I love Manowar but have to give the algorithm credit for sseing them for what they are
I have this but with "Manowar - Manowar
Can you upload?
sick!
could you upload it?
A band that is against posers while having Joey on stage. Ross kept it all together.
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Gimme back Ross the Boss, pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee..............
Ultimate Warrior and David Shankle the same person ..
hello from russia. from 10 years of age. I listen to the manowar group🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
You need a doctor.
Doing his Paul Stanley tribute
As good as shanks is no Ross no manowar..
Increible el momento en el que David Shankle se equivoca luego del solo, ¡Histórico!
We need an Eric Adams solo album BADLY
No. Just like Dickinson he just can't sing anymore like he used to.
@@Geiermeier Well i think for his age (72) he sings great :)
What is the false metal thing about ? I never understood, is it because of Metallica ?
Back in the 80's - FALSE METAL were the hairspray glam bands like RATT, POISON, WARRANT, EXTREME, FASTER PUSSYCAT, FIREHOUSE, probably Motley Crue and the ilk. Going into the 90's the NU-METAL bands would have definitely been considered false metal, definitely bands like KORN, LIMP BIZKIT, PAPA ROACH, probably M. MANSON and ROB ZOMBIE, WHITE ZOMBIE and so on. Most likely SLIPKNOT would not sit too well with MANOWAR either.👎👎🙄🙄😆😆😫😫😒😒 These bands I just mentioned were considered to be too commercialized, too corporate; real METAL bands were more underground, and more raw and brutal.
METALLICA going into the 90's was considered a disappointment as well, Up until St. Anger
@@johnkowal6770only posers considered Metallica a disappointment in the early 90s. That was kind of 'virtue signalling' from thrash metal fans.
But that was a totally different topic from the true/false metal issue.
Which was more of an attitude 'issue'.
Few things being more 'metal' than a Manowar show in the 80s and 90s.
Who is this guitar player?
Ross The Boss
david shankle
Terrible! The downward spiral! What a difference from the glory years with Ross! Gone is the hard edged sound, the truly unique approach to live shows and of course the songs! Bweeeurrrrrk
Eric Adams is the best vocalist in metal history. His band is shamefully bad. But I own all the albums just for Eric.
Patients-clowns from a psychiatric clinic :)))
So out of tune at the start sounds like absolute crap. I just looked up this band, and they formed 1980 and I come across this absolute crap sounding garbage lol.
You clearly haven't watched nor listened to this show then.
It's 2024 and you have to 'look up' Manowar?
Well...
What a ridiculous comment... 😀
Guitar was completely out of tune, yes. Thes things happen. Then immediately changed.
This predates pitch correction as a live device. This vocalist is the best in the genre.
