ADULTS ONLY: Hotel Barceló Teguise Beach, Lanzarote on Canary Islands, Spain. My impressions [4K]

- This 5-star Adult's Only hotel (local rating) on Lanzarote Island, Spain, convinced through their architectual design and the impressive main pool, so I decided to do a little hotel review or travle vlog, but without comments. Let the pictures speak for themselves.
Overall, I found the ambience and the offerings, including the food, quite pleasant and estethic. A downside was the table service (for drinks) at the buffet restaurnat, which was not exactly friendly and very slow. Also the hotel is not enforcing their policy, that sunbeds cannot be reserved. Even in this upscale hotel, some hotel guests wander at 6am to the pool to reserve the best spots with their towels, despite the explicit house rule prohibiting this.
Nevertheless, I'd absolutely go back there, as the location, the ambiance, the pool and the overall experience was enjoyable, as long as you get a good room. Some of the rooms were fairly dark, due to the design, as you see in the video.
At the time of the video shoot in 2022, masks were still mandatory indoors, that's why you get to see me and my partner wearing those sometimes.

Hi, no we only had half board. Food choice was amazing, and quality quite okay.
Strange to have a wash basin outside toilet. I thought it had a adults area on another site so a bit confusing.
Hi ! Is the pool open to go into in the night ?
Hi, not 100000% sure, but I think it’s closed. I for sure haven’t seen anybody swim in there at night.
Heading here in September. How strict is the dress code - no shorts in the restaurant for men?
Long trousers were encouraged in the evening in the restaurant, but it was not strictly enforced. Enjoy !

Would you recommend this hotel
I would, but maybe not during high season, as it felt a bit crowded sometimes. Otherwise it’s a really stylish and fairly upscale experience.
I'm worried some people think "Adults Only" is code for something else.
I'm just a solo old lady hoping to avoid other people's screaming kids.
I'm not looking for Hook ups.
I'm not LGBTQ.
And I'm not a romantic couple.
So far I never had any experience other than people enjoying the peacefulness and facility without kids playgrounds. Never had issues, and I was at Adults only hotels and cruise ship as a couple, and also solo.
