I don’t think ppl realize, Mahomes is a dee ford offsides and a bad second half vs the bengals away from going to the SB every year he’s started. 4 in a row. That’s ridiculous.
I would say if Andy Reid decided to kick the field before the first half it’s 10-24, bengals scored 14 in the second half and the kicker kicks the game winning field goal for the chiefs to be in that super bowl. But yeah nearly 4 straight Super Bowls
Facts! Mahomes is so talented he’s almost like a cheat code.
If the Chiefs kick the field goal at the end of the half against the Bengals they win that game
Mahomes has fallen into the “Die a hero, or live long enough to become the villain.” Makes no sense. Unless it’s more about the antics of his wife and brother.
Oh Christ... let's try to forget those 2 exist.
If anyone thinks that , they are not interested in football.
People need to dump social media.
That's a North American thing, for sure.
And the constant media deepthroating. That will do it for any player.
As a Bills fan, I have nothing but respect for Mahomes. Very likable guy too. Obviously, it's been awful losing to the Chiefs in the playoffs the last 2 years. It's easier knowing that we have our own incredibly talented QB in Allen and no longer have to play the what if? game about not drafting Mahomes in 2017. I look forward to another great game in KC this season and this will be a great rivalry as long as these two are in the league.
As a chiefs fan I do like Allen and hope he gets you guys a title. Ya deserve it after that crap in the 90's. However I do need to say this....13 seconds killed your dreams. For most guys it's the prhase" I'm pregnant" that does that
It's a weird rivalry because our teams helped each other, and then became rivals.. 😆 trading with y'all allowed us to get mahomes and then the next year with the pick y'all got from us picked Allen.
Agree!! Should be an awesome year for both teams!! That last playoff game was the best game I've ever seen! Too bad anyone had to loose!
That was the most epic game at this point in nfl history in my opinion. If we don’t make it bills are my second team to root for.
As a Chiefs fan, I have total respect for Josh Allen. I think he's a great dude, also very likeable and I am really loving this rivalry between the Bills and Chiefs!
Kurt Warner did an amazing breakdown destroying the comments about him not reading beyond his first read.
I was going to say the same thing . People tend to forget how bad the wr's where outside of hill . You don't shred the blitz without making reads and mahomes sheds the blitz .
Yeah, that was an awesome video
@@thedonk2 I don't think he deserves the criticism, but Pringle and the run game worked when we used it. Pringle took advantage of his limited opportunities. If Hill and Kelce are your first two reads it's difficult to see anyone else. Our RBs averaged 5 and 6 ypc in the AFC championship game. We stopped runing the ball. He had helped but coaches are responsible for play calling.
Yeah Studyball
For the media if he dont have 50 tds and 5000 yards is a bad season 😆
Just to let you know here's the stats for the highly criticized underachieving down year QB as in Mahomes:
37 TD 4,839 passing yds
13 Ints
98.5 QB rating
Josh Allen the highly praised media QB this year:
36 TD passing 4,407 yds
15 ints
92.2 QB rating ; in my Kevin Samuels voice " Make it make sense".
you can’t make this shyt up
And 3 of his INTs were balls that went off the hands of Tyreek Hill. I guess hitting the receiver in his hands isn't accurate enough for Tyreek.
@Brett No that doesn't make sense; the same Andy that blown so many playoff games in the past; sounds like a cop out.
@Brett if andy ried won many super bowls, heck ANY super bowls that would make sense. unfortunately for you cope of an argument, andy ried never got it done with any other qb. so clearly something was lacking for him to never accomplish this without mahomes
@@ozarked2363 amen brother!! Bounce right off his hands and into the hands of the defense! Smh 🤦♂️
Mahomes is now learning what life has been like for LeBron James for the past 15 years or so. You'll be taken for granted and have "experts" claim every new young kid is better than you.
Mahomes is the best QB to have come into the NFL since ARod.
Except the media started tearing into Mahomes and downplaying his success from the beginning. Media around LeBron was talking him us the GOAT before he ever got there. Media still loves to talk about LeBron, it's fans that realized he's overrated.
@@riffbw exactly he's not lebron, he's steph.
Not only is he a great QB, he represents his team and city perfectly
The superman throw hit the guy in the hands. I also remember Hill dropping a touchdown that hit him in the facemask.
We lost to the Bengals due to Hill deflecting the pass to a defender.
To be fair, you're not really supposed to aim for the facemask, lol. Still bad catching.
@@USALeonHeart you’re right. The best receiver deserves a pass when a ball bounces right off his hands because mahomes hit his face mask instead of his “breadbasket”
@@USALeonHeart to be fair most receivers want the ball at eye level, most receivers try to catch the ball before it gets to their facemask.
@@USALeonHeart you definitely don't know football
People take this guy for granted. Man as a huge fan of him when he was at Texas tech, I never thought he would end up having the best beginning to an NFL career ever other than brady. Rarely do qbs from a spread offense in the Big 12 end up succeeding in the league. Andy Reid and company are amazing. And so is mahomes
Best beginning stats wise anyway
@@keithmcgregor3330 and a league mvp, 2 super bowl appearances, 1 ring, 2 more afc title game appearances, a sb mvp.....
@@RJ-qs6nm Brady had 3 titles and 2 super bowl mvps in his first 4 years, so in what world is his start the best ? @@daftwulli6145 other than brady
You think it’s a ridiculous claim that Mahomes has had a better start to his career? Brady obviously had more team success, but those early Pats teams were incredible defenses.
Brady does not win a Super Bowl with the 31st ranked defense that Mahomes had.
The amazing thing about Brady is how much better he’s gotten as he’s aged. Even the biggest Brady fan would admit he’s a far better QB in 2022 than he was in 2002, which is impossible, yet true.
It’s crazy how people say he had a down year last season 😂😂. Only like 3 QBs had a better season. He set the bar extremely high so its become easy to overlook him
He had a “bad” stretch of about 5 games which validated certain narratives and everyone just ran with it lol
He definitely still had a really good season but he was not top 3. 9th in ANY/A, 9th in TD%, 12th in INT%, tied 16th in completion%, 10th in passer rating. Being near the top in passing yards isnt the only stat. 45 year old Brady set the bar pretty high throughout his career and he was still breaking records last year. I'd still 100% take KC to win the West though
@@173jaSon371 Whew.... going to be tough to win the AFC west this year, but we'll see.

As a Chiefs fan. I’m always finding myself explaining how good Patrick is to our critics.
He's good, too bad he's such a jerk and has an overblown ego. He needs to learn he's not the be all end all. He needs a good team around him, and from what I've seen, he doesn't appreciate them.

Same last year. They write us off and end up AFC championship Game (and lost a increíble game).
I don't get it either. He is amazing. He has the potential to crush almost every records. People love to hate.
Hey, Tyreek! The guy that hit you in the bread basket against the Bills happened to be 15. Lol
Dont defend him.
The season will happen, and mahomes is going to make them look like the clowns they are. It always happens to salty fans who hate greatness in the moment.
Remember there were people who said drexler was better than jordan. Anyone owning up to that NOW? No. Of course not.
It's interesting to me that people want weapons taken away from Mahomes to prove how good he is. Yet never consider Alex Smith had those same weapons AND Kareem Hunt and didn't sniff the success of Mahomes. Not in result or stats. The saying that ANYONE can do what Mahomes does with those weapons is already proven false.
They want weapons taken away while ignoring the plethora of talent that has almost always surrounded Brady lol It's just one big smh
@@oskarramirez31415 what weapons did Brady have when he won his first 3 Super Bowls?😂 what weapons when Brady came back 28-3 down against Atlanta? Gronk was out and you’re saying Amendola, Hogan and Edelman?😂
The only weapons Brady had in NE was Gronk who never stayed healthy and Moss one year lmao.
@@vietnameeseguy The greatest coach of all time is a pretty big weapon. Brady threw for 145 yds and 1 td his first SB and won. Against the rams in 2019 he put up a whopping 13 pts in the SB and won by 10 lmao. Forget weapons defense wins rings
And Alex Smith was a good QB. He wasn't amazing but he was a serviceable QB that a ton of teams would have loved to have as their QB1.
@@vietnameeseguy Its called DEFENSE and BILL B
People can't accept Mahomes is just getting started
I actually feel like Bills fans are the most respectful. Part of it I think is because they’re the least insecure, since they have the only QB who I think actually will be able to rival Patrick for the next decade.
@Nonstop sports kids give him credit, he doesn't make any where near the boneheaded plays he used to.
That awkward moment when you realize Mahomes won a Super Bowl off playing street ball
No he lost that one.
@@andyrinderle No he won that one and lost the next one. He plays streetball alot.
Seth kysor pointed something out during a play from the preseason that made me understand why mahomes plays "street ball" a lot. Mahomes often ran away from the pocket when he had an open pocket. He's been criticized for doing that just about every year. But that play Seth covered showed why mahomes does that when it seems he doesn't need too. When he has a receiver going into that same direction and has more than 1 and often 2 players covering him (one being a LB) mahomes will run out and draw that defender towards him just for that second he needs to pass the ball around him to make the completion. He does it to draw defenders away from coverage. It's literally a chess game, not street ball. Reminded me a lot of basketball when players move around to draw defenders to them to open someone else up for a pass to shoot an open basket
It's delusion, really. The Chiefs have played so many nationally televised games that if you're still predicting Mahomes downfall because of mechanics, or weapons, or whatever strange critique comes -- then you're just lying to yourself. Everybody has seen him make no fewer than 4 or 5 highlight reel plays every week for four years. He's not perfect, but when the shade is so thick you're only embarrassing yourself and your ability to evaluate talent.
Mahomes number 4 WR last season, Demarcus Robinson, was just released by the Raiders. Gee, I wonder if Mahomes elevated his game a bit when he played "streetball".
People don't realize how shallow the WR was last year for the Chiefs. Robinson, Pringle and Kemp ....yikes. Even in spite of losing Tyreek, I'd still prefer this year's group.

Somehow the east and west coast teams greats become iconic while the rest of the teams great are only allowed to be great one season than all of the wannabe sports media guys start tearing them down.
doesn't help that most of the "sports journos" these days are pink haired soylatte devourers that look for sensational narratives to save their job for when the next resizing comes around... media is just clickbait at this point and they don't even bother with the grain of truth anymore...
As a Chiefs fan I truly appreciate this video! Especially from a Raiders fan
Sammy was hurt most of his time in KC. By the way Sammy was with mahomas in his first season as the starter. Rodgers has been in the league for 17 year's. He sat 3 year's behind a Hof guy. Mahomas has been a starter for 4 years look at what you have accomplished. What do you want?
It would be nice if the Chiefs weren't in the Afc Championship but I'm not delusional. The man is just skill and magic.
What's even worse is that Mahomes is like the prototypical role model. Says and does all the right things, does a lot of great things for the Kansas City community, etc. He doesn't deserve the disrespect.
He's still a premiere qb, every team has been trying to draft a qb hoping they will turn into Mahomes, he's slightly redefined the position now. And he's the guy you have to go through in the AFC to get to the superbowl. Critics can say what they want, but he changed a lot for qb's after his amazing MVP season
Mahomes and Allen r the new mold arm talent, accuracy, creativity, pocket presence, and run abilities we’ve never seen guys like this will have great battles between them
if I was Mahomes I'd just post that Super Bowl clip of the ball going through Tyreek's hands and blasting his face mask, to social media, but I'm petty af. 🤣
People like to remember all the good things about Hill, but gloss over the drops and deflections to defenders. He was literally 3rd in the league in drops last year. At LEAST 4 (closer to 7 imho) of Mahomes' INT's last year were the direct fault of Hill deflecting the ball to defenders. And its not like they are bad throws either. They bounce off his palm, or his facemask or his god damned numbers for christs sake. Or worse, simply go right through his open hands.

The worst season the Chiefs have had with Mahomes at the helm is to lose the conference title game in overtime. That's an incredibly high floor.

I was in line at the grocery store and there was a People magazine with a 'story' about how David Letterman was floundering and that his career could be over any day. Six months later People magazine had another 'story', by the same author, very loudly proclaiming: "Letterman's Back!!!" I watched his show a couple times a week back then and couldn't tell any difference in quality, content, etc. I guess some media types just have to create drama in order to have something to write/talk about. This whole PM hate thing looks suspiciously similar.
They just hypnotized with hatred
It's okay Mahomes is taking notes and will let his play talk for him. Watch he will throw for 55 touch downs this year.
I'm a Buffalo Bills fan but I respect him as a quarterback
I would say that Mahomes did start off last year kind of rough. I honestly thought it was because he was trying to go to deep to often and do to much with his feet. It wasn't until mid season they settled down a little bit. Mahomes beat the rush 70-80% of the time throughout his career. That's isn't just scrambling. It's knowing who's gonna be open cause who is coming.
A lot of it had to do with the fact that Tyreek was whining for the ball, yet has hands of stone unless you lob passes with your non-dominant throwing arm like Tua. Tyreek caused more turnovers than I care to remember. Good riddance.

What makes an all-time great is how you respond when Defense Coordinators figure out your weakness. Turning your weakness into an advantage. He has already done that twice.
Mahomes has already been to more Superbowls then Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers is 10-10 in the playoffs and 4 of those wins came in the 2011 Superbowl run, which feels like a lifetime ago now.
