  • I'm sorry about my runny nose these allergies been killing me lately. But with so many people out fishing for Stripers, in my experience, they start to get picky on what they bite on. And sometimes just thinking outside the box and trying new things can be rewarding. So, when there are a lot of people or the fish just ain't biting, don't be afraid to change it up and find your own secret technique.

    Got 4 keepers this week using the jerk bait at a spot you gave last year on the Sacramento river. Thanks bro!! Biggest one was 22 inches.

    The jerk bait has been killing it for me man, my go to now thanks 🙏🏾 been only having consistent luck at the aqueducts. Rio vista and Oakland have been super miss. Also white flukes I love using two of them on one line.

    Caught 14 schoolies in west sac off the bank.. probably like 12-14 inches pretty consistently. But have yet to get a legit keeper. You think these 18” + are in there with them?

    What oz swimbait head do you recommend?

    • @vinc8ntl8r
      @vinc8ntl8r  Před 2 lety

      Depends on the depth but I would say match it with the body of the bait. But 3/8 or 1/4 or 1/2 is good

    An enjoyable video; with very informative commentary. Are you fishing a river or tidal affected slough? Does tide action or time of day matter much?

    • @vinc8ntl8r
      @vinc8ntl8r  Před 2 lety

      This river is tidal and changes minutely. And tide and time of day does kinda matter but imo it’s whether the fish are there or not. I’ve caught them all at every time of day and any tide. So it just depends
