Brilliant 👍 thanks for your time watching my old vids lol. The pre LCI G20 is still a great car....the new one is better in many ways but I wouldn't jump to buy one if I already had a pre LCI.
After watching can say I’m happy with 2020 330e I bought. Not a fan of the new screens and less buttons. Don’t feel like i’m missing out on much. Since I’ve come from a 2014 Seat Leon anything will feel like an upgrade right now. Again another great video!

Not a fan of the big flat screen, no physical buttons or gear knob but I like the outside. I think overall I prefer the pre lci
Lack of gear knob is a disappointment. The screens are nice and they're useable with the idrive controller so there is still a lot of ease of use. Heating controls are a bit fiddly and not as easy to get as in some other cars.....like Audi
I prefer pre lci aswell (purely cause I have one) but the big screens, no buttons or gear knob looks like it's gonna be here to stay unfortunately 😢.
@@DownShiftThrottle yeah when I checked one out it was just a pain! I really don’t want to go into the screen to just turn my heated seats on lol 😂 I know you can set most of it to be automatic but again just seems unnecessary. We will all have to get used to it I guess.
Like all modern infotainment systems, spend 5 minutes with it and you soon get the hang of it. VW offers one of the worst ones as in my GTI but I've got used to it making it work for me.

Regards to adaptive suspension most 2023 cars seem to have this deleted due to a supply issue with parts.
No laser option on the LCI. The blue accents just dictate they have the adaptive headlights that are now matrix.

G20 LCI do not come with Lazer lights. These are adaptive LED…

I’ve already ask you about difference between g 20 and gti, btw watching your channel since you had g20 and from the same time was thinking which car I should buy g or vw, perhaps of massive fear of unreliable g30 330 i ( diesel not interested) I bought gti instead but every month thinking to swap gti on g20 ( just because bmw more cozy and much much quieter on British gritted roads. 😅
The 2 cars are very different. GTi is a hot hatch and more sportier in feel than a G20 which is more of a grown up car with a sporting appeal but definitely not a "hot performance" car. G20 is a comfier car than a GTI. If I was looking to come out of the GTI I would get in a G20 but perhaps a 330i pre-facelift because they don't offer that engine in the LCI

Absolutely disappointed about the plastic centre cover on the steering wheel instead of a stitched leather!
Btw the “adaptive” mode button is gone in LCI for some reason regardless if you have an adaptive suspension or not.
Thanks for your comment. On the adaptive suspension, I tried going into sport individual and there was no option there either. I should have pointed that out in the vid too.
@@DownShiftThrottle oh yes in AU all 320i come with a passive non-adaptive suspension unfortunately!
That really is a shame but I'm guessing you don't need it as your roads are much better than here in the UK lol
what does LCI mean
Basically a mid life facelift. Life Cycle Improvement. I wish I could have a midlife facelift too
The LCI does not come with lazer! Discontinued!
