  • Over three days adventure ultra cyclist Christian Orry rides from the German-Danish border to the northernmost city in Denmark, Skagen. He follows the entire west coast of the Danish peninsula, Jutland.
    The 650-kilometer cycling adventure is completed with changing local people, each contributing with a unique knowledge of the areas and nature of the journey. From the Tønder marsh in the south to Thy National Park in the north. From moorland and majestic dunes to wind-blown fjords and the roaring North Sea.
    The film is a cycling tale in some of Denmark's most unique terrain, and explores the joys of nature and the various motives for loving cycling - especially the kind that takes place off-road.

      Hi Michael. Sure... our language (Danish) is only spoken by 5 mio. people or so, so not many people would see it without the subtitles :-)

    A great movie dedicated to a great sport. I've been to Denmarks east coast a couple of times, but the west coast does look more rural. Such a beautiful country overall.

      Thank you Benjamin. It is indeed a beautiful country, and you're absolutely right: If you want to experience Denmark a bit more rural and "rough" - go to the West Coast.

    What a wonderful gravel adventure Christian. I usually ride only on roads here in Australia but your film inspires me to try gravel riding. I just need to get a suitable bike. If my wife lets me!

      Hi Jack. Thanks... yes it was a true adventure. I (Christian) have been in Australia 10 years ago, and it feels like one of the ultimate places to own a gravel bike. Just ask your wife to write me a message, and I will be more than happy to deliver the sales speech :-)

      Jeg (Christian) bruger meget forskelligt. Velocio (super lækkert tøj i god kvalitet) og Futurum (godt til “belgiervejr”). Den bordeaux her i filmen er fra Rapha.

    Why do you use an englisch title but talking all the time in a whatever language?

    • @AdventureUltraCycling
      @AdventureUltraCycling  Před 2 lety +2

      Hi StrongbowJava
      We're talking Danish since it's our mother tongue. The whole film has got English subtitles, so everyone (who reads English), can enjoy the film. We use an English title, so that people easier can search for the film. We could have chosen to speak English in the film, but felt it would be strange since it's not our mother tongue.
