- April 29, 2013 - Parade to celebrate 200th Anniversary of the Battle of York, War of 1812. Following the visit from Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, to present new Regimental Colours to the Third Battalion of the Royal Canadian Regiment. I was standing just south of the Sons of England War Memorial on University Avenue (Constructed 1923). Hence, the salutes as the parade passes the Memorial.
