Thank you for acknowledging him and being so respectful and loving with your words towards him. Much love man.!

Right on man. We love this stuff to and want to hear the truth from people that where there. Nothing but respect.
Pun studied KOOL G RAP
@@jamesearlcash1758 Percee P the illest!
@@DanielIvan707 Sorry for being a dick its just that I grew up around a lot of mc's and
rappers from that time and knew them personally and I hear a lot of fan's making to me
out of place remarks and statements about the past and what they were told by the media
and or ghetto scholarly gossipers/fans. You can check me out to verify who I am by looking
up The Stretch and Bobbito Show 11/11/93. I went by the name Force of One. Me and Percee
talked about how Pun robbed him of his style. I always thought it was messed up that the biggie
small's impersonator didn't acknowledge Percee because he had no respect for the music nor
does Joe.
Nor did look g rap nor Percee wrote for Pun, nor spit his rhymes, so I don’t want to here shot about pun bit from them, because pun mastered his own style and no one could even get close to his talent. I haven’t heard no one that could successfully spit puns songs without running out of breath or messing up the rhythm
@@jackmarr1776 Pun was a flash in the pan, a one hit wonder who's record label purchased
his own albums to fool people into thinking he was popular so that fickle minded and easily
swayed fans would buy into the hype and buy his shit. Every popular artist from Tupac to
Biggie had the same thing going on for them. It was a con and people fell for it. Go look it up.
Not everyone is who you think they are
Born in South bronx,, whole family from near Philly, but grew up traveling back and forth across US, BRONX,NY-OXNARD,CA and back. went to highschool with madlib, while my cousin of same age, went to art institute of Philly. I Left CA, to philly and chilled with black thought and Malik b, who later on made my cousin musical director of black lily, where jaguar Wright and Jill Scott came out from. Hosted underground hip hop TV SHOW in Santa barbara, CA for like 8YRS, I interviewed GZA, RZA, GURU, BAHAMADIA, LOOT PACK(friends from school) souls of mischief and SO MANY MORE.
SO I GREW UP IN THAT ERA AND CHILLED WIT GREAT RAPPERS!!
PERCEE P AINT DOPER THAN BIG PUN, lol, you BUGGIN'😆!!
EVEN OTIS JACKSON, who yes, produced tracks with percee would admit that!!!
cannibalism is living in my metabolism, giving em spasms and aneurisms at baby baptisms
That's all my thugs thinking bout
Drinking your blood
Big Pun will always be one of my favorite rappers. Very well done video especially breaking down the bars.
That bar schematic in you ain't a killer Is flawless
it's hard to analyze which guys is spy's be advised people we recognize who lies it's all in the eyes Chico we read em and see em for what they are thieves in undercover cars takin my picture like ima fuckin star 🌟
“Dead in the middle of little Italy little did we know that we riddled some middle men that didn’t do diddily” 🗣️🗣️🔥🔥
That’s deep cover right there.
Barz!
I remember discovering him in in true crime streets of NY soundtrack. I heard that line and said "daaamn who tf is this???" Only to look him up and find out he died recently.
Big Pun is 1 of my Biggest Influences to Rap 🔥🔥🔥👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿🐐🐐🐐
I'll never get over the fact that Biggie & Big Pun agreed to Collab a week before Biggie Passed Away😢
It's crazy to think about what that collab would've resulted in
Biggie and pun collab would have been historic - it’s unfortunate we lost so many greats so fast
Why HipHop Shouldn't Celebrate Biggie & Big Pun, They Were Monsters .. Watch this it is no CZcams . i don't like him after Watching this it is Very Bad Let me know how you fill after watching IT IS Crazy
@@user-pt2sf7kq7m they certainly aren't the best of people, but you should separate the art and the artist, and you could respect the art while you don't respect the artist.
@@ELROHANIUS i wish it where that simple .Thats Like Loving Hitler But Hating his work Like saying He is a Very nice guy But i never like his Camps Naw Fuk em Both one in the same Brain
Fat Joe was getting a soda not rapping in a cypher when he met Pun outside the bodega.. good documentary 👍
Never happened....da sickone
@@pedrorivera9742 that's just what I remember hearing from both Cuban and Joe
He wasnt getting a soda, he was getting that orange drink, if you know you know 😂😂😂😂
Diet Pepsi
Joe was asking for credit… In the bodega when he heard Pun ….
Theres a video with pun at a diner trading verses with canibus, mos def and i think one more emcee. It was clear even amongst such stellar peers he still stood unmatched dropping his dreamshatterer verses
His mother contradicts herself by saying as a kid he would come to da house rhyming and she would go hit him in da face but in da same breath says she knew he would grow up to be somebody special 🤦🏽🤦🏽
That’s a lot of mothers and some fathers whether drug addicted or not. They abuse their children.
Women are backwards.
@@yvesbony8571 💯, abuse is real, and a regular occurrence in the hood, it's low IQ damaged and disinfranchised parents love language which only keeps the negative cycle continuing through generations. Only when hurt ppl get outta those situations and break those cycles as abused children grow as ppl.
That shit really fuck me up man, why do that? A child is being a child and his mother ain’t shit foreal. Her losing her son is her karma, and I don’t feel sorry for her
Beautifully stated about being abused and the environment but just cause you grow up in bad environments and uneducated parents doesn't mean you have to grow up that way especially with domestic violence sad but WU TANG MIKE TYSON AND OTHERS MADE IT OUT THE HOOD WU TANG SPOKE /SPEAKS KNOWLEDGE EVEN Eminem GREW UP IN BAD SITUATIONS AND LOOK AT HIS LYRICS AS WELL BIG PUN GENIUS LYRICS BUT THAT DAMN DOMESTIC VIOLENCE DAMNIT 😢😢😢
R.I.P to one of the greatest to ever do it 💯
Your channel is mad underrated.
Thank you. Comments like these mean a lot to me. I appreciate your kind words
@@hiphopcircleI wholeheartedly agree

Great video!
Thanks for sharing
amazing thank you!
Glad you liked it
Cool video👍🏾👏🏾🤟🏾
He is definitely one of the top 5...
Good job bro 💪🏼🔥
Excellent job on this Documentry. Thanks for sharing
Glad you enjoyed it!
That was really good kid.
You got it, concise, smooth narrative.
Your a natural mate, keep it up.
Great documentary and especially good job on breaking down various rap techniques man! 👍
Thank you for the positive feedback fam
This was dope. Appreciate you keeping him relevant. Pun was and will always be the 🐐.
RIP PUN
Dope Doc, I'm hoping they make a series based on his life
Thanks for educating me on Pun and rap!
BIG PUN documentary DVD 📀 is available just saw it
Amazing documentary
Great informative coverage of one of the greatest of all time. Salute!
Amazing video man. You're obviously a deep fan!
You will hit 1million subscribers by the end of this year. Absolute quality production.
Great video man 💯 RIP PUN 🫡🕊️🙏
I glad pun is finally getting the love he always deserved. His giant vocab and use of almost every rhyming style and rhyming cadences made him one of the wildest to list to
Its a myth that he had great breath control. Many rappers who worked with him even in the beginning before his weight truly skyrocketed, have admitted he would have to punch in line by line cuz of his LACK of breath control. I've also had friends who saw him live right when Capital Punishment came out who've said his performances were never great because he would get tired very fast
Pun and Kool G always been in my top 5 all time
New sub
Great documentary, professionally produced and very thoroughly researched. Well done!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Much respect for you for this Documentary on Pun. Definitely Subbed. ✨
Thank you. I appreciate that
very very nice docu sir
That deserves well more clicks
RIP Pun, MF DOOM, and all the other legends that we’ve lost too soon.
Nice!
Big Pun was on another level with his lyrics.
BIG PUN FOREVER 💘💘👑🇵🇷
He was one of da Greatest R.I.P Big Pun
Thanx for the documentary, but bruh, your track is tightttt
Thank you fam. I deeply appreciate your positive feedback on the track.
Great Documentary. But you forgot to add when he was a football player 😅 its all good though...whats up with those beats in the background. Theyre mad dope
My best friend in college introduced me to Pun in early 2000s.
Capital Punishment was in my heavy rotation for a while after that
Big pun one of the best
Big Pun is my GOAT! I wish he was still with us.
One of my biggest what if's.
oddly enough i had a mixtape series back in the day called "passion and progress"...great minds think alike ... but anyway great job covering pun. he's definitely a goat when it comes to technical proficiency!
When he died, Hip-Hop officially died.
2:26 oooooh, that's how he got so big
WoW
Pun flows are legendary🔥🔥🔥
Not just being half boricua but PUN is theee nicest ever (personally) And I don't remember now, but it's either NAS or Jada that said if he ain't considered top 5 dead or alive then your opinion don't matter. Great video!
So when you do the math he put on nearly 500 pounds in less than 10 years......damn dude.
Rest in piece🙏BIG PUN 4EVER!!🙏✒
It’s humbling to realize that all these famous talented people who grew up like me in my backyard are so inspirational to ppl all over the world and now documentaries made by dudes with foreign accents from the other side of the world. No disrecpect of course, it’s just humbling to realize I am born and raised in BROOKLYN - the top of the food chain.
I sware if pun & em did a album it woulda went diamond in the first weekend. Thats facts
His last name was Rios not Rivers dude…
But even Pun would refer to himself as "Mr. Rivers" sometimes, cuz you know, Rios means Rivers.
Dope documentary! I wish you would've talked about how Joe robbed him and the family! It's very important when talking about pun!
Rip to the greatest
Pun Was Funny With His Rhymes. Lol! 😂 But Nonetheless, He Was Great. 💯
Still one of the greatest lyricist ever 💯 top 10 of all time 🎲🥃🃏
BIG PUN FOREVER G.O.A.T
You missed the other member of full a clips da sickone 🤷🏽♂️
rest in peace big pun
Damn almost 25 years smh
Pun doesn’t get enough credit as far as music long live Pun
Big Pun Babyyy
His mom hit him in the face for rapping smh. Big Pun definitely one of the illest ever. R.I.P. Pun
I Went To A Cool G Rap Concert When I was Really Young Back In 1985
HE HAD A VERY ABUSIVE CHILDHOOD HIS MOTHER ALLOWED HER BOYFRIEND TO PHYSICALLY ABUSE HIM
For real ,., pun one of the best all time
I love big pun
Pun’s brother is foul for having an affair with Pun’s wife.
rest in peace God🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🔒
Was Big Pun more better lyrically than Biggie? Idk, I’m starting to think so cause I’m sure he had more rap techniques than him.
I feel like biggie knew how to make hits more than Pun. Both were amazing artists.
Pun definitely had the tongue twisters, Pac had the depth and aggression, and Biggie had massive charisma and unmatched flow IMO.
The one thing that I didn't like with Pun is his breathing, like you can hear him gasping for air between bars.
This lyrics genius called his album ‘yeah baby ‘….
And this legend had other men wiping his arsehole .
Don’t be shocked he isn’t bought up on many lists . He was highly over rated and all in all the worst of humanity.
He died way too late.
He was out of breath , and his lyrics about diddly in Italy were childish .
Awful.
Thanks for this video
One of the best rappers ever. So damn clever
🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐. Wepaaaa 💯
"Rob Pun without a gun snatch his chain amd run.
He weigh 400 pounds he aint gon catch me son"
Think they deleted my comment. Peep "My Turn" by Pun. 50 ain't say shit after that.
big pun was gone too soon, for me he has to be 1 of my favourite rappers, but the guy didn't get enough time to takeover the rap game
The rapper that would have ended Eminem's career number 1 forever
Huh?? Naw bro... He good... But Em, would have washed him in one Barr.
@@Eric-zc5vt yeah what ever you smoke I want some pun did real multi syllable rhymes Eminem really doesn't plus puns flow no one ever to copy it and pun got his sound off of an original old school artist how many artist sound like Eminem a bunch no one can match pun period this argument you will loose
@@commensence9576 Hate rain on your parade. But when you ask the legions of hip-hop and rap,..PUN ain't in the top 10. Pun is only mentioned in the Hispanics top 10 list. Pun was a Goya vs of Biggie Smalls 🤣
Pun all day.
@@user-ep4xp8yc9v Pun ate all day,,that's about it. not too many black rappers can f*** with Eminem,, and we created this s***😂 fat Joe don't think Pun would beat Em.
His weight issues are so sad man. Addiction is hereditary
He was a sacrifice for Fat Joe don't get it twisted. His weight was definitely an issue of course but I don't feel it was the cause of his death.
"I just lost 100 pounds, I'm trying to LIVE"
Respect the GOAT MF DOOM.
Great video, I disagree with stellar breath control. It has been said that he recorded 2 bars at a time, which is just good studio use.
I don't understand how he gained so much weight so fast. It seems like that would be hard even if you were just eating buckets of chicken and pizza everyday.
THE ABUSE MANIFESTED IN HIS BODY VIA EATING FOR COMFORT and TO QUELL HIS RAGE and EMOTIONS . . . . . THIS HAPPENS WHEN YOU DONT TREAT THE ROOT CAUSE or ACKNOWLEDGE ACKNOWLEDGE THE EXPERIENCE
Greatest latin rapper rip pun😢 you are truly missed
Ihis name was Big Dog Punisher or Punisher Big Dog part of Full eclipse Crew
I don’t wanna be a playa no more.
Kond1
I didn't watch this because you can't cover big Puns life in 22 minutes.
Joe paid the other TS Members in White Castle and phone cards 💳
Pun is top 5 period!!!!
Poor Liza.
True, but tbh…. A lot kids with adhd had toxic short tempered no nonsense or patience to problem solve disabilities….. was met with abuse……. I understand why pun became how he became later on…. However… I don’t condone him taking his frustrations out on his girl…… there’s therapy, medicine, and exercises designed to reduce or mitigate crash out behavior.
Happens a lot in the Hispanic culture…. No one wants to sit down with the troubled one to break their head open to help them figure internal issues out……. Even worse in the black culture…..
A lot of these kids who have great potential often fall through the cracks….. we should see rappers as such….. they may come off as arrogant by the time they hit peak stardom but most are products of their environment.
Then they get exposed early on to the ultimatum…. Survive or starve.
Yo! Today, he gets locked up for that pistol whip. That's some Diddy shit.
His breath control was terrible
Mf doom is still one of the greatest MCes
Pun is still the best lyricist that has ever lived that's straight facts, and my opinion is that there's only 3 rappers that have the lyrical ability to match Pun that's Eminem,Lil Wayne and Tech Nine. And they've been doin it over 20 years each. Pun was just beginning when he passed sucks the world will never know how high the limit was for him
What about cannabis, nas or Kendrick Lamar
No way did you just say lil wayne lmao 😂 smh 🤦
Obviously you've never heard R.A The Rugged Man. Also,Little Wayne can't even rap clearly
Lil Wayne😂😂😂
MF DOOM,Lupe Fiasco,Aceyalone,MC Supanatural,AFRO,Kool Keith,Kool G Rap,Immortal Technique, Diabolic, Poison Pen,Jean Gray,Czarface, Aesop Rock, Homeboy Sandman
I was thinking he was pretty cool up until he pistol whipped his baby mama that shows what kind of man he really was but I bet people ignore that because they like his music it's messed up how people overlook the wrong doings of artists they listen to actors they watch athletes they watch people will ignore the fact that they committed some evil acts I'm guessing karma played a part in big puns demise
The private lives of artists are largely irrelevant to me. I don't look to artists as role models automatically, & I'm able to separate art from artist. It's a personal judgement call... If I didn't separate art from artist, the artwork of everyone from Pablo Picasso to David Bowie would be off limits. It's beyond me why we would expect artists to incarnate unimpeachable Moral rectitude. They're not the Priesthood, & we expect too much.
Eating wall rocks??? that's a bad sign yo.
Cannibal is living in my metabolism giving them spasms and anurism than there be baptism
