I was wondering what was in all those bonus pages when I kept seeing this thing was like 200 more pages than the deluxe, that’s actually so cool that they show that morisson “pre work” I’ve never seen anything like that and it makes more sense now how so many different artists encapsulate his crazy paneling and style, I had no idea morisson sketched it out for them first, thanks for showing this better than the dc marketing department lol, however, do not think for one second you are safe Mike from the hardcover comic especially now that Jsa volume 1 is out of stock.
Take a look at the Grant Morrison documentary Talking with Gods (available in CZcams.) You get to take a quick look at their notebooks, full of sketches and ideas that you can recognize if you are familiar with the final product. The full documentary is quite interesting.
God how much I love this story... for me it's the best comic ever written and drawed... the absolute edition in Italy isn't arrived yet... could you suggest me some other Morrison work dealing with multiverse? All star superman and wonder woman earth one shows multiple versions of these heroes? Thankz!
Thanks for another great overview. Beyond having seen this for sale here and there online, I knew nothing about it before watching the video, but you've persuaded me to check it out, and to spring for the Absolute when I buy it.
As per usual another great review. Just picked this up, had my eye on it since first watching your review but waited for a drop in price. Can't wait for it to arrive.
@@banstablanckenburg5717 I mean this is one of my favourite books ever so the oversized format and the directors cut of Pax Americana is all I needed to be sold. Also well priced on a per-page basis.
@@ThreeBlindMiceFilms haha i ordered it yesterday aswell. It's just to good of a book and im eternally sad that I don't have the 7 soldiers omnibus and it is semi-indefinitely out of stock and I noticed a couple of new pages of annotations in another youtube video, so thats something.
@@banstablanckenburg5717 It would definitely be nice to get a Seven Soldier’s reprint (in any format). Mostly want to read the Mister Miracle issues, but the whole series is crazy expensive these days

While I'm still a bit new to Morrison's work (Animal Man, WE3, All Star Superman) it's super cool to see you calling yourself a big fan while also using Morrison's correct pronouns. Big props to you 🤗 it means a lot

doesnt seem to be a lot of new content. the normal hc has all the morrison pre-work. Only the black n white directors cuts are extra it looks like.
