But its not his fault, he had a disastrous childhood, a family that didnt want him or think about him so all this had to happen. I really know how being neglected feels like so this is the most common thing that could happen.

Mahir's father is true depiction of Sarkari Mulazim. Pora din koi Kam nhi bus order tea n think about their self created miserable life.
I feel like Mahir goes into peer pressure when talking to Babar lol. Mahir seems a broken person and does not seem like a character who cares for money. He is not a gold digger but likes the luxuries he is living in and definitely may have been a reason he married Mehru but he was clearly attracted to Mehru too. Mahir will never betray her, he is hurt because of what he heard Mehru say about not trusting him but he will never betray her. Mahir is not the materialistic type of a guy, he just wants love but everytime he speaks to Babar it's just guy talk. Mahir didn't ask for those expensive clothes that she got him, he didn't even want to go or want any money from her but he definitely likes it but is not the type to deceive.
But now she trusts him & love him also. So why is he doing this.
