I prefer Chris Stapleton with just his voice and his acoustic guitar vs. his whole band. When he plays solo acoustic you get a better sense for just how blistering and unparalleled his god-like vocals are. Nothing displays this more than his small stage appearance and performance of “Sometimes I Cry”.
This is what real MUSIC and TALENT is! When you can take someone and put a microphone in front of them with an acoustic guitar and feel the emotion and start to dance.. Loving this man's smoky deep voice.. One day he will be remembered with the likes of Alabama!

So we were working in West Monroe Louisiana this past week and the sales rep for our company there invited us to eat at his house on the wachita river thursday night. He and his wife were playing the traveller album as we drank cold beer and ate on the porch looking on the river. Then his wife starts telling us about the band and that we should look them up because her brother is the drummer. So i did and holyshit I am not disappointed. Really outstanding stuff, from the vocals to playing to song writing. These guys were number one on itunes last we over all genres. Awesome.
