Jade was delivered with three signature weapons, among these her primary bow, the Evensong. The weapon can be farmed doing the new game mode ascension, it has a 5% chance to drop. Alongside the Evensong Bow, Jade also wield the Cantare throwing weapon and the Harmony Scythe.
Today we will be focusing on the Evensong Bow Build. The weapon features buffs and debuffs, it will offer your team either 35% or 70% multishot.
A charged arrow explodes in a four meter radius that applies sevel puncture procs to all non-status immune enemies removing 100% of their damage.
The weapon will be showcased in Steel Path against high level enemies thou the weapons damage is a bit lackluster. This is in part to the fact that it also has buffing and debuffing capabilities.
The Evensong bow follows the trend started with the Grimoire of utilitarian weapons, a trend which I personally don't like but you should make up your own mind in this regard.

I will NEVER use bane mods
Sadly it’s looking more and more like we will have to at some point 😔 I just wish they had a thing were if you max out all the bane mods of a type (melee, riffle and so on) you could them merge them into a bane All, that way you still have to put in the work of getting and ranking them up but you still have the QOL option of not needing to swap out a mod.

you are very different and unique, I'm very proud of you.
Since DE is trying to simplify stuff, why don’t they help simplify builds by getting rid of the bane mods and replacing them with a single faction mod so we don’t have to keep swapping them or having multiple builds and having to swap (though the new menu being able to hot swap while on the star chart is a nice QoL).
Because many people have +1000p worth of Bane mods in their inventories that wouldn't realistically be compensated. It's like deleting Arcane Energize, because you don't like grinding plat. The game doesn't cater to just you and if you hate switching them just make 5 dedicated weapons for each faction and switch those instead of the bane mods. With the new arsenal window in Navigation it's very convenient.
they should at the very least let us "combine" bane mods into one single bane mod. the grind to max out all bane mods will still be the same, and people who have already maxed them out won't lose anything, but you just don't have to swap them in between missions anymore. plus it's not like we have those for narmer or sentient enemies, against those it's basically an empty mod slot.
at that point just remove the normal base damage mod

Sadly it doesnt reduce damage of enemies by 100%. It only redoces their WEAPON damage by 100%. The abilities of eximus, special abilties of infested and what not still do full damage to you
Can you make a newer status comparison video comparing all the statuses and which one is best and worth using against specific enemies?

Low fire rate bows should do more damage off the rip.

Agreed, the weapon needs something to make shooting it faster. As much space as it takes, and as much damage it reduces, I can't live without Prime Shred on the Evensong.

@@tescobeefmince2629 Using Shred, which only quickens the speed for another shot, reduces damage output because it takes space from a damage dealing mod.

Interesting idea, does this buff warfan multishot? Might be good? Also does its gas cloud retain debuff for enemies?
I love this. I just need to narrow down who to put it on.
I would go Dante but I have a summoner build on him and that requires kitguns.
I like the idea of Limbo, Revenant or Loki since they can effectively limit damage to themselves.
Of course Jade is an option but I need to analyze her more.
Than I see Wisp haste buff is crucial so she is an option. Perhaps with gloom for a Chrono Wizard style of play. Either way this should be fun.
The Nataruk is still my go to bow.
I like bows in general and this one is pretty cool. Not even close to dread damage but the gimmick will be nice when i want to play squishier frames

Playing around with it, I found that Synth Charge works on it: all of the returning blades count as the "last shot" and get their damage increased by 200%.

@KangMu hmmm this is usually unintended behavior, knowing how DE removes this functionality with most other guns that abuse the empty mag mechanics. Maybe it'll stick with the cantare though

Blast is crazy on the Scythe too but it might kill you. 😂
how does that all work? Don't you have to actually get kills to proc the multishot bonus?
@@icefyer2 split flights only requires you to hit an enemy, galvanized chamber requires kills. Split flights also decreased accuracy a lot so your bow spreads out big amounts of arrows, and with thunderbolt they have pretty good chance to explode

after extensive research I felt the bow have such low dmg, either its a bug or the 90% fall off the the suspect. trying slash on it is depressing, it deals no dmg. and the aoe part might as well not exist. but if ur gonna do solo target dmg then it still is weak, there is dread nataruk paris daikyuu cinta , hell even bramma is better at single target. and that fire rate is criminal when you see how low the base damage and crit chance is
Kinda disappointed it can't do much dmg for now. I hope they'll buff it or riven dispo increases with time. Low fire rate is deffo a huge problem here, same with Daikyu.

rn you just bring the full set of jade's weapon to get the full buff
then just use Harmony to fully utilize how Harmony has built in basically Expedite suffering on it

Could you do a video on just generic modding, now that a lot of things have changed? Like are we really jsut gonna bring whatever element that the current enemies are weak to? No more viral with slash/heat? Is it just Raw damage builds are better, for higher levels then?
viral+ slash would do fine
only thing that it would kinda eh on is enemies that are resistant to the viral damage
you're still going to do enough damage combining it with slash since slash procs still ignores armour
if you're gonna do lvl cap you might as well go bane mods then go what faction you're fighting
Love a good bow but I also love the MIGHTY SEER

Leyzar, I have a question: how do you decide between 60/60 and 90/90 mods? When is one better over the other?
If you need more status, you use the 60/60 mods, otherwise choose the 90% elements.
Status for automatic weapons (for example corrosive to strip armor) damage for slow firing weapons. But I personally use 60/60 mods for almost everything.
Steel path frost? Since the more recent cold changes and whatnot, he's definitely been feeling better in steel path. Power creep or not I will stay maining my boy
especially since there is an entire arcane that seems to be geared directly for him now.

Can you add a comment regarding the new mod (Rifle Elementalist). Your initial build is Radiation, and you also mention Corrosive, I noticed the "ELEMENTALIST" set of mods don't affect anything that's NOT a DoT, so will it even work on those builds?
no, he said he put it so we can see it, it is only buffing slashes.
Im pretty sure it double dips as blast is not a DoT and it effects both the status proc and the dot.
HDR? is that a setting on youtube or just the display?
Both, if you're display has HDR enabled so will the YT video if it's recorded/rendered in HDR

do some testing because i think they broke the charm kavat buff 2 hours in SP and multiple times killing the timmy with the buff active and no double drop

I wish the names of Jade's signatures were the polar opposite of Stalker's
to be fair they added the arsenal menu on the star chart map so its pretty easy to switch banes if u have 1 on each loadout making it less annoying than it used to be as u can switch straight away before joining the mission, i still dislike banes but it might be time to start using them
They also added a way to copy over mod configs within the upgrade screen, which will make it easier to make new faction builds with mostly the same mods
Im the kind of play that likes using signature weapons with their warframes

You should do some warframe builds.
i suggest you do harmony next. the special trait is powerful, specially with the new mods that increase status damage
It’s doing tens to hundreds of millions but in co-op my blast procs are killing me. Every time I swing and proc blast I lose all my shields or I die. 😅
you put status duration on harmony also if you wanna increase damage
slash status indirectly nerfed with the armor changes. DE cap the armor to 90% max dmg reduction, but buff the hp.
i think that's fair considering it's been the uncontested meta for like 5 years...
would it mean that viral just helps slash more because of the buff on the hp
and there are like only murmur and cambion drift enemies are resistant to viral anyway?
@@lag00n54yeah but u are technically still dealing the same amount of slash dmg....not that i care ive always used heat/toxin over slash but magentic is nice rn too.
"Best defence is the offence" - if u kill them they can't hurt you.. With changes to cold u can now freezze a lot of them. Even passively with for ex. Verglas on companion.. Do I really need a debuff while I still have to kill them on most missions? Eh.. If they really wanted a support weapon the debuff with +dmg from allies I think would be better. Like helping my team to kill faster.
Simply do what I have, completely ignore any notion of Damage resistance or weakness and just stack and unhealthy amount of Radiation Damage on your Zaw and ball out with a Nuke Stick. lol

I’m not really a fan of pure utility weapons either. I got the bp for this from the mission but I think I’ll at least hold off on building it.
Still think the damage type changes are a net positive and it’s not close. Corrosive status is now more impactful and you’re not punished for fully stripping armor so it’s still worth it against corrupted imo. The orokin and corrupted thing will be made consistent I’m sure.

The status changes and faction bonuses should be reverted, its annoying to have to change the build every second and its just worse in general.

Low damage? yeah Usless? no - it has unique ways of reducing damage enemies do and giving buffs - its not usless however its hard to justify it use CURRENTLY
