Some people must be born with amazing balance. I believe it can certainly be improved upon with training, but some dancers seem much more talented in that area than others. Do you believe we’re all born with specific strengths that lead us to particular professions?

I think we are born with them, but that for most people training and practice and drive are more important than initial talent. From my experience (of watching people in the world around me) talent often leads to people toward certain things, but if they don't have drive they won't put in the work to grow. And sometimes it leads people to "rest on their talent," like many children who are quick learners or start school with more knowledge (ie "gifted students") that struggle when school goes beyond their natural ability and they need to study/new skills don't come easily.
