This was my favorite scene in the entire show, it just felt like Fallout 1. It's everything i ever wanted to see in a Fallout show. Just a vault dweller making his/her way through the wasteland.
The glitch that happens in the first Fallout intro happens at the 1:11 . I like to think that the song continuing in this instance is because the scientist head holds the key towards "continuing" civilization and hope. If you remember, the song glitched out in the intro because power "died out". However, and with the scientist having a certain secret in his head, that secret also holds the key to "continuing" the song. If that was the intention for choosing this particular for this scene (along with Lucy's interest in Maximus) I'd say it was very clever. Definitely one of my favourite scenes in the entire show along witht he clashing of flags in Episode 8.
