  • Panelists in this session of the 55th ADB Annual Meeting explored policies and programs that support women in entering the green economy, and women-led initiatives on climate change.
The transition to green, resilient, net-zero economies has different consequences for men and women. Without particular attention to how women can benefit from the transition, gender inequalities will be entrenched. To advance gender equality, it is key to upskill and reskill female workers, as well as tackle barriers keeping them from green jobs.
The event took place on the sidelines of the 55th Annual Meeting of the ADB Board of Governors.
