what i don’t understand is how he says the dollar isn’t pegged to anything like it was gold initially so it’s worth nothing anymore... what is bitcoin pegged to?
@@kaleb324 Bitcoin is an non-correlated asset with it's own underlying value and scarcity, and basically can act as a "peg" just like gold, but it's still in it's early stages of growth (ie price volatility). In maybe 10-20 years, as the overall volatility is projected to decrease with price increases and diminishing supply, it may be reasonable to peg the dollar to btc. Basically, btc can be a peg for currency, but needs more time for volatility to decrease. As btc go up orders of magnitude in price, the volatility will go down. If 1 btc = 1M by 2026, which is what Pomp and I personally think, it may be in the many millions by 2040, but the overall price volatility will go down, making it a more reasonable peg for currency (it still is and will be the Ultimate Store of Value for a while). This is long winded, but I hope my explanation makes reasonable sense

yup now its hell of a lot lower than 60 grand just under 17k as of right now. i have just started buying its about to hit its trending low. seems to have a two year history of going up quick and drop over 2 years and repeat and go thru the same cycle. charts show its near that low. i went to school for technical analysis the study of charts. i typical do stocks and options but this seems good now. not when the podcast was going. 1 mill by 2026 according to the "THE BITCOIN GURU". lol glad i looked at the recent comments. i did that same thing and rewatched it.

Was refreshing to finally having someone on the show quick witted and ballsy enough to go toe to toe with Andrew. Andrew seemed genuinely hurt by the insults he received lol, his insecure ways tried to outshine Pomp but it failed completely lmao. This Pomp guy even gave Akaash the confidence to diss Andrew, which made the show more interesting in comparison to the usual “yes man” approach by Akaash.
It was refreshing. I usually cringe when Akaash just sits there parroting Andrews mannerisms and thoughts
