As I read, I totally relate to being a first generation Canadian with parents of Guyanese origin (whom are which are a mash up themselves). When you have a complex background like we do, it becomes so exhausting to explain your origins to satisfy people who just want to put you in a box and judge you!! Im so proud of you girl, you definitely have talent!
