@@starlight8540 “the devil is in the details” is basically someone trying to trick you, for instance say a mechanic is repairing your car and tells you it should cost so and so amount of money but it ends up costing more because say you didn’t have a membership with the repair shop, you missed a detail that screwed you over hence “the devil is in the details). Then “angels work in fine print” as in the context of this video basically means they’ll be straight up with you and if you fall straight into their hands you have no one to blame but yourself, aka they literally wrote down they were going to double the amount of exterminations but they needed permission from hell, Charlie signed the contract without thinking so she had no one to blame but herself.

It's kinda funny to have Viperish, the victorian, be more tech savvy than Alastor who's like. Rather modern all things considered, just too stubborn to accept his time has passed
Yeh, I noticed that in the show Pentious despite keeping his style and leaning more into the Steampunk type technology doesn´t ever seem to mind change or the modern stuff as much as Al does. I think he would like to mess with modern tech but it probably wouldn´t work. Not because he doesn´t like it but more so because he doesn´t understand how it works. Also he was an invetor I think there it just comes naturally to want to mess with technology of all kinds.

OH OH i got an idea! for the sin part not the circus theme. I think it would fit that nifty's deadly sin would be Envy. Because when every time a boy that nifty "likes" dates another girl. Nifty would get so jealous that she breaks into the girl's bedroom at night and makes out of it a crime scene

Wow I like these ideas and designs much more than the og, ngl. There were so many things that flew over my head with the og ones (Like Nifty being an alien, wth), and angel being a mob boss, i forgot that was an entire thing. I feel like there was a bit of an obsession with making the designs look cool and pretty, to a point it's lessened the storytelling aspect of their designs.
Also, Very cool idea with the whole nebulous void thing, i really liked that. I think that could be a nice message to tie things together, the fact there are no exclusively good and bad people, just people who are more or less capable of living in harmony together. :)
Thank you! Now I don´t really know if Angels mafia origin is still canon or not I guess we´ll have to see in S2 but I did want to lean into it (also I think it was his dad who was the mafia boss? But I am not sure)

Maybe rename Angel Dust to Pixie Dust, not only would that separate him more from the actual angels name wise, it also would make sense realistically, given how I doubt many sinners would want to watch a guy named the same as the things that come down every year to try and kill them. Plus Pixie Dust also goes into the drug aspects of the name given it's a slang for drugs, I also think the name Pixie is more inline with the dark blue colour scheme. But that's just my opinion
So if Heaven is based off a Theater, and Hell off a Circus what will Limbo be based on? This is all so interesting to see I am becoming a fan the more I see of this rewrite. Great Job, and I can’t to see more!
I think it would be cool if at first Limbo had no theme, it was just a grey wasteland and the more people that came in the more it would grow, expand and gain its own identity - growing with the people (also thank you, comments like this honestly make me so happy to read! )
I do like the idea that in heaven Everything white and gold Hell, An overbundance of colours Limbo Yeah, everything's just great.
@@oblivionofthewise5885 That makes sense, Limbo is essentially just a transitional point in Christian mythology. Especially since the people there are more important than the location itself. I would say maybe having it have somewhat rocky or mountainous in reference to the Dante’s Purgatorio, maybe Limbo itself adapts to the people there? And no problem Oblivion. It is always nice to see people using their creativity in unique ways. I like seeing creativity in action, and that passion for something to be built on. So I’ll drop a comment on these videos give you my two cents, and enjoy what cook up with this universe.
@@IDragon1930 a random idea I just came up with is that Limbo is a passive audience. A place not quite as terrible as Hell and less great than Heaven where not much is done and the people in there are oftentimes stuck (though always with the option of going down into hell or something). A place where the decidedly mid and the quite mediocre and mundane rather than the exceptional and great often go.
That’s why you always read the contract before signing.

honestly you kinda had a similar idea as me for the color choices for the characters. if I was to redesign the main cast I would have chosen color pallets that went with the sin the most closely represented. i love your angel dust!
Same. I wanted them all to have colors that represent their sins its just that with some characters like Nifty its hard to guess what it was or with Alastor where the red is just too iconic to get rid of. Also thank u
Can't join the Vs if your name start with anything but V? Well what if two people join at once, so V becomes roman 5. The Vs go from a trio of overboards with V names, to five guys
Going from 3 Vs to 1 Roman 5 is really funny. I think it would be so funny because the Vs would totally have to keep explaining that - "Hey I noticed you went from 3 Vs to 1 V did you kick some people out?" "No we added people...its a Roman 5" (also that was just a joke)

Okay, I like that you actually have Charlie lose some power, giving a reason why she can't just brute force her way out of this, though this also may show some of Lucifer's cruelty, I mean, depending on how weak she is, he could have potentially left her vulnerable to Hell. I have a script for how the conversation could go.
(Charlie is bugging Lucifer about redemption [Think Bart and Lisa asking Homer to go to Mount Splashmore])
Lucifer: Alright, alright, you really want to redeem these sinners as an alternative, fine.
Lenore: Really, you mean it?
Lucifer: Yes. (Lenore cheers.) However, there are some conditions to this.
Lenore: What kind of conditions?
Lucifer: #1, a time limit, you have until the next extermination to redeem one sinner...
Lenore: One sinner in a year, alright, I can do that.
Lucifer: #2, if you really are serious about this, you have to do it without any help, from me, your mother, the Sins, or the Goetia, you're on your own on this.
Lenore (Worried): ...Alright, fine, so is that...
Lucifer: Uh, uh, uh, last condition, if you're doing this, I'm reducing your power.
Lenore: What?!
Lucifer: You want them to redeem themselves, right, can't have that happen if they're afraid of you. Don't worry, I'll keep you as powerful an Overlord, a weaker Overlord, but still, better than nothing. (Lenore is worried) But you have faith in these sinners, you wouldn't be afraid they'll take advantage of you in your weakened state, right.
(Lenore was worried, Lucifer smiling, believing she'll crack, but she is resolute.)
Lenore: Deal.
(Lenore shakes his hand, the pact is made with Charlie's powers going into Lucifer, it hurt, but she can tolerate it, leaving the castle. Lucifer was annoyed.)
Oh, another question, does she have razzle and dazzle?
You know I really like what you wrote! But then you mentioned Razzle and Dazzle and the idea of Lucifer taking all her powers away and just giving her Razzle and Dazzle for protection is also a possibility. Maybe he could split her powers in two and make Razzle and Dazzle out of them.
I think Husker & Nifty sin would be, Sloth for Husk because he's super lazy/Apathetic & Nifty for Greed. Her underlying greediness could play into here backstory & how she died. Or maybe Gluttony if that hasn't already been given to Alastor.

Love the story character and world building you have here it’s all amazing ❤, in your part with Agatha when it comes to keeping that connection and twist reveal without making her an ex-exorcist an idea I had myself for that scenario is to have it be the person who sold her out was a former overlord (one of the ones the Vees would replace) who once owned her soul and as Lute was about to kill her(already taking her eye and clipping her wings which could refer too how’s she’s not free going from being owned by a overlord to now in contract with Adam) she offered to reveal the location of that overlord in exchange of sparring her own life this is when Adam comes stopping Lute from killing her and decides to have her make a contract Agreeing to this and even offering to give her immunity if she in each extermination sells out an overlord in hiding or what would be equivalent which from the soul statement in that last video be 1000 souls, which could also connect back to the Literal monster Animatic you made and why Adam was there finding all those sinners in hiding and playing dead, because they’d be revealed later to be people she sold out as instead of the orb giving the former exorcist reveal in court instead zooming in on one of the times Adams a silhouette in the animatic and reveals him talking to Agatha, it would have more impact too as instead of being something from years ago it would be something that happened in the most recent extermination

Since you mention a Part 3, how many Parts do you think this will have overall? Would the others be for Plot, episode-by-episode rewriting? Overarching direction of the 'show'? Limbo (or will Part 1 be the only worldbuilding one)?
I might do a part 2 for worldbuilding or I can just put it into one of the other parts depending on how much I write about it same as Limbo I just don´t think I have enough to say about the subjects for now. But there should be at least 2 more parts coming - one about Heaven + Deadly Sins and one about Imps and rewrites for Helluva Boss. Whatever comes after those is a "maybe" (probably one more about the side cast)

@@IsabellaMathew I was thinking about making the Virtues the Council of Heaven to mirror the 7 Sins in Hell but probably not.
How powerful is Adam compared To the sin And Lilith
Oh, yeh they would probably wipe the flood with him...but with Lilith that might be interesting...since they were made together as equals and all... Didn´t really think about it but it is a very interesting point to make!
Yeah, maybe you can't win, I'll write against a sin But honestly I can see amusing The numbers advantage with his angels against them I do, however, think he is far stronger than most of the hierarchy Of hell apart from the sins And honestly I can actually see him being around equal to Lilith
@@user-yd5po9ow1m I think that he could beat anyone from the Ars Goetia up but go any higher and things might get muddy. Since the Sins are fallen angels like Lucifer...but yeh around equal with Lilith I think.
