      Oh Anthony... there is NO short answer to that question! LOL As I said in the video the 6.5x14 Black Nickel Over Brass is the workhorse that can get you through a lot of gigs. But I do love the process of picking out the right snare for the job at hand. 8x14 BNOB for Josie Pace, 6.5 BNOB for Laith Al-Saadi, 7x14 Mahogany for Skunk Baxter... those are my consistent live gigs. Don't get me started on studio. I have 17 snare drums in my personal collection but won't hesitate to call a backline company for more options if I see fit. The short answer is... I'll pull the Brady Jarrah Block 6.5x14 or the DW 6.5x14 Copper off the shelf first and go from there. Thanks for the comment!
