In Starminer you design and build an interstellar mining fleet to strip space of its invaluable minerals, and sell them for a tidy profit. But beware. Your greed may attract unwanted attention. Use warships and defense platforms to protect your fleet at all costs and push back the frontier of space.
In this trailer we introduce you to the fundamentals of building your prospecting fleet, systems and features that go into it. Build small, build big, but always build to maximize your profits. And remember. The void may be vast, but you’re not alone out there.

While Surviving the Abyss *is* basically dead the neutered devteam is still trying their best... also Aftermath and Mars are complete I dunno what ya'll are going on about there.
The surviving mars trains update was not integrated well into the early and midgame but was still interesting. If surviving the abyss has updates I'd be interested in taking a look again, but the game didnt feel rewarding. I stopped playing because it felt like the devs were tryng to see how much BS I'd put up with rather than making the game fun.
So THATS how those annoying mining drones blocking my science ships got made!

Looks cool, but i hope it doesnt suffer from the same issue lots of these modular block building games do.
That no matter what you build, it all just looks the same, like one indescript mass of identical blobs and squares.
Please, try to work on "combining" similar objects into a new cohesive mesh if adjacent, to fix this.
For example, if one places 4 reactors in a row, have the mesh appear as 1 long reactor, or have some intermediary connection addon mesh that makes it appear as if they are 1 mesh.
Yeah they need features like in Avorion where you can take a square and make it anything. Pieces need drag resizing, shape options, etc. Static meshes boring af.
Can't wait to spend $100 on DLC for this every year.
Hmmm. Pay for dlc and have a game you enjoy supported and expanded upon for years after it's release vs buying the yearly release of the next CoD/FIFA/Madden that's gonna end up costing more than the $100 of dlc in the end. Hmmmm. Tough choice.

Interesting ! I hope in the future they will make land battle something cooler. A DLC focused on it would be really nice ! You can have FLC for everyone and DLC to make it even deeper.

Not gonna lie eerily familiar vibes to Era One from the get go and see the timeline for release being likely also Q3/Q4 of 2024.
The core gameplay of one being more skirmish against players and the other being singeplayer survival is a big difference but it'l be interesting non the less to experience how the core mechanics differentiate themselves non the less.
Looking forward to this.

There are many small bugs that interfere with the normal game (a glitch in the inventory of artifacts when there are more than 3 of them, it is impossible to select one of them), is there a patch planned at all? thanks for the answer)

A survival/exploration/resources gathering game where your base is an integral part of all the gameplay as your spaceship/fleet instead of just something your leave behind and get back to? Could be fun if well done!

Well that's simply untrue, Paradox's games rarely have DLC outside of their grand strategy games and popular titles like Age of Wonders 4 or Cities Skylines. This is an INDIE game published by their INDIE publishing branch.

This looks cool, though Im not sure i dig the build aesthetic - I get the idea of them being built of adaptor pieces that you snap things too, but the adaptors dont realy look like their meant to snap together normally. They stand out abit too much as individual pieces, instead of blending together
