The book shown in this image is a book called "Kokoro(heart)", written by Natsume Soseki. Natsume Soseki was a great artist who had portraits on Japanese bills before. All japanese high school students study this novel. It's a very good story, so please read it. I'm using a translator, so I'm sorry if I'm wrong.

I grew up in the bay area and would stay up late at night to watch Samurai Champloo on adult swim and the view from my room was the Bay Bridge..
