Fun fact: When the Pokéball shakes in the air to signify a critical capture, in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet at least, the ball is guaranteed to catch the Pokémon.
And if it’s a quick ball and *doesn’t* do this, it’s a guaranteed failure
after you catch a pokémon and it’s registered in your pokedex, all captures are crit captures, and anything that’s not a crit capture it’s a guaranteed failure reguardless of ball

@@mhaethan2324 levels have nothing to do with crit capture rates, the game is coded to make any catch on a pokémon you have in your pokedex a crit capture, so if you have your pokedex filled and you don’t get a crit capture it’s a guarenteed fail
edit: and by in your pokedex i mean caught before so it’s filled in
@@eeveeblazelolWhere did you just made this up? I have the Pokedex and didn't decide to check on every Pokemon or does this guarantee that Pokemon I have already caught without crit captures were the first ones. So that's why I got a lot of crit captures oh.

My headcannon is just they forgot to spray can it/the paint faded before being released into the wild. Since they are robots, it means that they are man made and painted afterall.

I mean, yes but no, she's a youtuber so making content is her job and livelihood.
So it's like saying employees are at a store to take time out of their day just to give you a great store. Sure you can enjoy your job, but the end goal is still just to make money to survive.

Iron valiant is one of my favourite future paradox Pokémon in Pokémon violet. I was able to get one in five minutes without the use of herba mystica. Great video:)

I appreciate you re uploading a video due to a minor issue. You already make some of the most quality videos on this site so it really sets you apart from the crowd (in a good way obviously).
If you’re planning to do this on scarlet as well, you can use the union cirkel to make a sandwich together with your violet save file and let the violet save pay the herba mystica. When you close the game on violet without saving you still have the herba mystica on violet and you have the sparkling power on scarlet ❤
Btw it was reuploaded due to audio desync (which was annoying in the og vid but glad it’s fixed)
I did this at the beginning of summer! Had to borrow my cousin's copy of Violet, played through the entire game and completed the pokedex again to get the shiny charm. I hunted 3 copies of each shiny then transferred them to my Scarlet.
After watching this video though, I'm bashing my head to the wall cause I didn't know Iron Valiant can spawn in any cave in Area Zero. I thought it was just the same situation as Roaring Moon...
I got so happy when she said the best shiny form for iron thorns tyranitar is my favorite pokemon

Iron Moth - “SawBlade”
Iron Valiant - “Pink Chops”
Iron Hands - “Electro”

I'm planning on doing this in Scarlet. I started with Roaring Moon and had EIGHT PHASES before finally getting it. I'm so glad I started with it since I think my motivation would've petered out by the time I got the others.
Ironically, we hunted differently. I use only the shiny charm and no sandwiches. How silly.

I hunted for a shiny Iron Bundle as soon as I could because I love that Pokemon, and after looking at its stats, stealing a booster energy, giving it the Paldea champion ribbon, and naming it Shiver.
I have it ready for competitive.
(Before this video got reuploaded, I got a reply asking how I gave Shiver the ribbon, and you can give any of your Pokemon the ribbon if you either complete the league or beat the Academy Ace Tournament with the team you want to have gain the ribbon)
Huh, didn't know Iron Valiant could spawn in the big cave with sandwich powers. I always hunted it in the same cave as Roaring Moon.

FYI you don't just need spicy and salty herba you can mix and match any herba with ingredients that's how I've shiny hunted since day 1 have over 4 boxes full of shiny Pokémon 😊
I love watching your stuff Catherine! Violet was my main game for this one simply because of Iron Valiant (Gardevoir being my favorite Pokemon of all). Iron Valiant was the first paradox shiny I hunted for the second I got Herba Mystica.

I remember hunting for a shiny Iron Valiant on my birthday in hopes of getting one with the Destined mark. A couple of sandwiches later, my first one appeared and got the mark immediately once I caught it. :'3
I named them Diamante (meaning Diamond in Spanish). I tend to name a lot of my shinies after gemstones or rare minerals, like Bismuth or Meteor for the future paradox 'mons.

Yeah, Iron Moth can be a tough one if you're multitasking or get distracted. I almost missed my one when I was hunting it because I had covid at the time. Luckily I noticed before they despawned though.
fun fact: the crit capture tends to have the white line bend sharply, so that's an easy way to know when you have one

Fun fact: iron valiant was my first shiny paradox Pokémon. Got it 30 minutes after getting a shiny dracloak. And it was full odds. No shiny charm, no herba mystica, and no encounter power sandvich. And it’s terra type was fighting. And i kept its fighting terra with a drain punch. Their name is slash. They are fully maxed out with a lot of coverage. Since slash does not mess around. She also is the leader of my shiny violet Pokémon. Iron moth was a pain to get. But I got him in April. My iron valiant in January or December

When i finished scarlet back in november and after i got the dex i KNEW exactly what my 1st shiny was going to be and it was slither wing. I spent like a day or 2 hunting the shiny dino bug and when i finally got it... God lemme tell you that was a good day. Idc if im soon to be in my last year of hs i will always be a nerd for pokemon! Which is why i love your vids! ( also i named lil bro lemonade )
The other day i just finished getting all the Scarlet exclusive paradox in my Violet with the Violet OT. That was fun.

I feel like Violet paradox’s have increased shiny odds because as a violet player, I found all the shiny paradox’s with level 1 encounter sandwiches, no sparkling power, no shiny charm, with my crappy internet on a union circle as my friend suffered in scarlet
