Have 2 Anker devices, they are a good value to money, just decided to spoil myself with a Flip 6, and I understand why it costs more, it simply sounds better! The twitter makes a big change, the sound is clearer and more opened, while the bass is seep and the mids makes voices pop out It's the 1st Bluetooth speaker which sounds good to my ears objectively.
I agree, the tweeter placement definitely makes a difference. I’ve heard quite a few Bluetooth speakers and this is one that was done well. i appreciate you taking the time to watch and share your thoughts.
My trusty Sony SRS-XB3 recently stopped charging recently (Yes I tried another AC adapter) and after six years, the time came to buy a new Bluetooth speaker of similar size and weight. One of my coworkers has a Flip 5 and I really liked how good it sounds. So, I picked up a Flip 6 locally for $130 and after about a week, I can say I'm very, very happy with it. Great sound, Strong, but balanced bass and it goes plenty loud enough even to fill a decent sized room with sound. Your review is spot on! I find battery life to be the same as what you got in your testing. Great review.

The stupid App will not let you use the EQ settings when in Stereo Party Boost, Only when you are using a single speaker may you adjust the EQ settings. I have two Flip 6 speakers on the latest firmware, and the App is useless .
I appreciate you taking the time to watch the video! If you adjust the speakers to the level you need them to be at before you link them in party boost, it should be good to go. I think they do that as a way to ensure we don’t accidentally change the EQ for one speaker and make them sound uneven. It would be nice if they made a way for us to adjust all of the party boost speakers at one time when linked together…
I appreciate you taking the time to watch! I’ve had the Flip 4 for about 5 years and it still works with no issue (a little outdated but still works great). The Flip 6 seems to be built pretty tough as well. I’m guessing it will last as long as or more than the Flip 4. I don’t think you will be let down by the Flip 6.
Thanks for taking the time to watch! If you don’t mind the fact that the JBL Flip 6 does not have e mic for calls, yes. The Flip 6 sounds better if we are talking music only. The Flip 6 is louder and has better bass response. The Sony can answer calls and may be marginally better with CZcams, Hulu, and Netflix. Overall sound, Flip 6. I’ll probably do a video on these two. I get asked this question a lot by friends as well… I hope this helps!
If you have the Flip 5, I wouldn’t run out to get the Flip 6. If you don’t have the Flip 5, definitely get the Flip 6. The IP rating and EQ alone make it a lot better. Both are great, but I would get the Flip 6 for the better protection (dust and water resistant) and EQ to adjust as I like the music. I appreciate you taking the time to watch!

You can really hear the difference between flip 5 and flip 6 the flip 6 sounds a bit better than the other 1
