ABBA at their finest. This was a colossal hit all over Europe (5 weeks at No 1 in The UK) as far as ABBA goes, It doesn't get much better than this.

The name ABBA is an acronym of the first letter of each member first name.
ABBA topped the charts worldwide for 9 years 1974 - 83. All four members are multi-millionaires.

ABBA has a lot of rock-style songs, enough to 2-3 double-sided vinyls, all other are scandi-pop featuring metal vocals
Knowing me, Knowing you (Indie Rock), Fernando (Rock ballad), Tiger
Waterloo (Glam rock), Ring Ring (Glam rock), So Long (Glam rock), SOS (Progressive rock), Watch Out (Glam rock)
Get On the Carousel (live version is a glam rock), I'am marionette (live version is a progressive rock + too metallic),
Me and I (Progressive rock due to hard instrumental modulations)
Does your mother know (Elthon John's rock guitars)
Why Did It Have to Be Me? (Rock'n'Roll), Rock me
Santa rosa, King Kong Song, Hey, Hey Helen (Rock'n'Roll)
Love Isn’t Easy (Country rock), She's My Kind of Girl (Folk rock)
The Visitors (Progressive rock + New wave), He Is Your Brother (Rock + Schlager)
Like an Angel Passing Through My Room (Art rock), I do I do I do (Rock + Schlager).
Hole In Your Soul (Rock'n'Roll), Rock’n Roll Band
    Eagle (Art rock), Bang-A-Boomerang (Schlager)

*Coming from a native Swede* The band members were couples; Agneta (the blonde) was married to Björn (the clean-shaven man), and Anni-Frid (the redhead) was married to Benny (the bearded man), but they later got divorced, and I think that this song is in significance to that.

No less a rock figure as The Who's Pete Townsend once described Abba as 'white blues' - and their simultaneous embrace of western pop and European gravitas pins their songs to a board transcending fashion.

    Recommendation for ABBA - S.O.S, Hasta Manana, I do I do I do I do I do,
And two that are pretty-much forgotten:
Put on your white sombrero. This is taken from an Hispanic traditional piece and made into a really gutsy song. Tremendous guitar work. Very Exciting.
Like an angel passing through my room: One of the most ghostly female vocal pieces I have heard - especially what she does on the bridge..
