When I was around your age and going through university, I fell in with a big group of friends, and several of us ended up living together on campus for a few years. I went on so many adventures and met a ton of weird and interesting people through the more socially capable among our group. It was a pretty wild time! The group of friends you've been talking about reminded me of that, so I hope it can continue to be a good thing for you. You're getting better at the being a self-promoter youtuber bit!
I am a fuckwit when it comes to friendship. I have always been able to make friends but maintaining and keeping friends is a total mare. I am definitely too much, too intense, I over explain my motives, etc. I’m 42 now and the last several years I have hardly had any friends, by choice, I panic and back out quickly and have been bitten in the backside many many times so that now, recently I am just resigned to feeling like it’s better to not make new friends. I have accidentally made a couple of new friends but I am honestly sat waiting for it to bite me in the arse. It was great to hear your thoughts on this Dana, ta very muchly ❤
I totally get what you mean about that situation when you stop texting and suddenly you have no more friends 😅 luckily at 22 i met the one who's now my bff and she's interested in my life as much as I am in hers. After all we are learning to be good friends
I can't make friendships. I have tried and it just doesn't work. To tell you the truth I would rather be alone than be taken advantage of and easily misled.
Also, I would love to hear about music or TV shows that you love, and perhaps a whole separate one for Dr Who (& torchwood) obviously, I want to hear your thoughts. I am a nosy sod 😂
I used to struggle with friendships because I used to be that really intense friend. I'd message all the time. Even if I didn't have much to say. I think it was a mixture of habit and a mixture of not properly understanding how it worked socially
Have you watched the TV series Yellowjackets? I'd love to see you do a react or review of the first and second season. Do you find that you interpret TV shows differently as an autistic person?

I still do that, but try to be less "intense" but it doesn't always work 😅 at least my closest friends don't seem bothered by it but the contrary
