SCP-3940 refers to a series of 56 murders that took place between 1949 and 1989. In all cases, the SCP3940 victims were struck by one or more arrows from an unseen source. All targets subsequently expired due to physical trauma, regardless of the speed and quality of medical attention administered. The estimated time between initial injury and loss of consciousness has never been observed to be less than five minutes.
All individuals targeted by SCP 3940 were employed by Leon Schlesinger Productions1 between 1938 and 1944. A plurality of the victims were involved in the production of the 1940 cartoon short A Wild Hare, which was the introduction of the characters Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd. Victims were often shot from angles that recording equipment or physical barriers confirm as impossible. In other incidents, the arrows were detected early but displayed impossible feats of force. Most notably, the 1988 murder of Phil Monroe2 occurred despite the target being located in a secure cell at Site-19 at the time. The arrow was originally detected three miles away, and proceeded to pierce both the ground and several layers of Foundation security walls before impacting Monroe.
The anomaly was initially discovered in 1949 when Leon Schlesinger was found dead, pierced by 11 arrow shafts while lying in bed. All arrows struck Schlesinger upwards through the bed, despite the fact that the floor below was undamaged. One arrow, which was lodged in Schlesinger's tongue, had a note attached which read "Chronicles, 1:10.3 I am no Fudd." The anomaly was originally suspected to be an isolated incident committed by a Person of Interest, but following three near-identical cases in the following year it was given the 3940 classification.

For anyone who doesn't realize, Looney Tunes is the reason Nimrod is seen as an insult. Daffy was being sarcastic towards Elmer Fudd's skill as a hunter, since Nimrod was a mighty hunter and warrior. Bugs is also the reason we think rabbits love carrots

It sounds to me like the biblical Nimrod didn’t like that Bugs compared him to Elmer, thus making his name synonymous with an insult, and got payback on the people who made the cartoon.
So the reason why Chuck Jones created SCP-4934, isn't meant to protect his valuables in his room, but it was meant to be a sanctuary or a safe haven, to protect him from SCP-3940 attack.
Remember Chuck Jones had been working on Looney Tunes cartoons, and that also made him the target for SCP-3940.

SCP Foundation has some of the most creative writing ever. That so much of it is fan fiction just makes it more awesome.
so, the spirit of mighty warrior/hunter nimrod getting pissed that his name has been turned into an insult, due to people never having heard his name outside of the bugs bunny cartoons, and assuming that "nimrod" just meant idiot or something, rather than being a "sarcastic compliment" sorta insult like when you'd call someone "eistien" right after they did something stupid.

Well there is man hunting living Disney Mascots including Mickey (Dr Bob actually did an SCP video on it) along with a theme park that has creatures that resemble Mickey and the gang that kills who ever enters it with a certain brochure.

SpongeBob doesn’t have an SCP made based off him. The closest thing to SpongeBob SCP is a SpongeBob watch that when cranked up causes the digits of whatever it is on to grow breaking out of the skin and if two are latch around the neck causes the teeth you have to do grow too but if cranked in reverse it reverses the bone growth. Not really SpongeBob related even if the watches has SpongeBob’s laugh

Mr Fudd was first introduced in 1937, not 1940. The 1940 version of Mr Bunny had black tipped ears and a cotton ball tail. The cartoon shown, would have been "Elmer's Candid Camera".

This is one of the scariest SCP's of all time, arrows coming from anywhere and able to go through things that normal arrows aren't is very scary for sure, I'm really glad that non of these creatures are real and are only in the world of SCP, that I can say. If the arrow is only anomalous before piercing the last physical barrier near the victim, is it possible to make the target personnel wear thick body armor that can slow the arrow down and possibly save their life? (Because the arrows stopped when hitting the victim's body, suggesting that they have lost their anomalous piercing property, otherwise the arrows would have pierced right through the victim's body and continued flying) So my guess is the arrows maintain their anomalous property until piercing the last layer of wall blocking the victim, and then they become normal arrows that stop when hitting the victim. So it might be possible to make the person wear armor on themselves to block the arrows that have lost their anomalous ability to pierce everything.

What a great episode. Like the Sam Spade like detective. Nimrod is and has been used as an insult for many decades. So unless this being is going after every little girl or boy that used Nimrod as an insult - I think the SCP-3940 is out of it's depth.

Nimrod is the greatest hunter in Biblical translations, his arrows could pierce the thickest of skins with ease.
The way bugs bunny described Nimrod as a bad hunter was very offensive so I am sure that was a Spiritual figure not a Human or an Anomaly. So understand that every mention in the Bible is accurate and realistic.
