- This is a spoiler video on the Garden of Salvation raid and my team's first kills with the Contest modifier active. People said we got 12th place, but I don't actually have a clue as to what place we got, but it wasn't top 5. It took us about 12 hours to complete it, being stuck on the final boss for about 65%-70% of that time. Also, I forgot to put cross-dissolves between each encounter and I feel like an idiot about it.

Not true in my experience and that's why I never do them instead of making friends I find assholes so in order to avoid assholes I just don't do them.

Hey Datto, I was there watching the whole stream since the beginning. Although you guys didn’t get first, I’m pretty sure you guys got to the final encounter the quickest, and that’s something not a lot of people would have been able to do. Especially having been day one. Good effort from you and your team! Still one of the best Destiny CZcamsr’s out my man ❤️

You guys played amazing. The final encounters tether feature is not consistent and makes wipes to frequent.
Also smart choice muting the stream when conversing on strats. Cause there was deff 1 team pilfering your strats.

What about y'all give it some time? On launch people were pissed at Last Wish, and nowadays it's considered one of the best raids of all time. This raid has some outstanding and unique mechanics and some of the best music I've heard.

So what does this raid have to do with the story of shadowkeep? I just assumed that the pyramid ships would play a big part due to the ending cutscene of the campaign.
I am going to assume that it either "ends" the story of Shadowkeep like COS and SOTP or changes the world like LW did.
I doubt it is the first but if it is the second then I will assume it going to take a bit before the Moon starts to shift/change(similarly to how LW started the curse)
Edit:Also I am sure the Darkness took control over the Vex at thos point(or at least a subtype)

I think vex answered the darkness call before and when the pyramid ship activated it caused the call to go out again thus waking up vex bois in the black garden. Guardians went in and answered the call. Plus that statue at the end of the raid I’m assuming is the leader of the darkness
This is literally just Vault of Glass but better. Great encounters, fantastic atmosphere and visuals, no story progression and barely mentioned in the main story
The artifact that you got at the end of the story takes you here. It was a yet another test from the pyramid people.
I stayed the whole stream start to finish and hats off to the team you guys definitley got it next time

@@JP-vr1xi I see. Most raids are never this long. They can take like 10 hours if its everyone's first time and people dont really know what they're doing yet. Try to LFG sometime. (: I hope you get to raid, they can be really fun and spark some friendships (and even more inside jokes (shock on left))

@@batmanarkhamcentral3149 Datto's team failed to complete Last Wish in twenty four hours by about two minutes. Hence 24:02. It means his team was unable to get the 24 hour emblem that only Gigz and Sweatcicle's team got.

Destiny new raid night is becoming the pinnical event in gaming, for us mere mortals that have never done a raid this is still jaw droppingly good to watch.
It would be really cool if Bungie could somehow give you some kind of in game notification of how many times each encounter has been cleared in the world to add to the drama

Just like to point out that on the second encounter if you start off going right, you meet the hobgoblins before the angelic, which makes the spawns of shielded enemies more manageable

well, I didn't watch it live. To me it was too heartbreaking to watch you guys try so hard and fail. In the end you had my support, and will always be my favorites.
If Redeem only finished just before you guys did then it's safe to say that the Vanguards of raiding didn't do so well this time around. Which is fine, you can't always perform your best. And everybody has their off days.

Unlikely as the lake in question seemed to have been on Io.
My favorite part when my clan did this yesterday was getting to the prison break at the end of the first encounter. First time we go there we see 3 cyclopses and just laughed at what we saw...
