Hey Ryan. Great series. The drone shots on the coast were fantastic on the video the day before this one. This is my backyard you are riding in. I ride the coast up to the Columbia river at least twice a summer. I’m in Northern California and I can take a little 4 day trip mid week and it is fantastic. Yeah I know there are a lot of California hater’s out there but I have a ton of twisties everywhere here. The funny thing is you started off about the Harbor Inn and that’s exactly where I stayed last August coming home. On that trip I had the best weather I’ve ever had. 75 - 80 degrees and 0 fog. I actually got lucky to get a room there because a lady was checking out when I pulled in and it was 6 pm. I think she saw the room and fled. Hey man love the content. Been watching for awhile and it’s always great. Never been down to Texas or Oaklahoma so maybe I’ll see you at the Kriver next year. Enjoy!!

I wish I would've had time to do the others. From what I understand, there are a few different trees like this one. Looks like I have to go back. ha ha.

Ryan, brother you’re cracking me up! You’d be a blast to travel with…. “Hey let’s talk a minute”….. “you can’t make this up”…. “I’m getting out of California…..” 🤣😂 I’m with you on it all. Man your photos though were off the hook! That Harbor Inn or Harbor Freight you stayed at🤣🤣🤣, dude, sometimes a guy is so tired you just want a hot shower and go to bed. Ive landed at a few one-n-dones before…. I’ve had the great opportunity to see a lot of this beautiful USA from the road. Clearly there are states a heckuva lot more friendly and have their sh*t together, more than others. I’ve done the whole west coast for years, over it, not my cup of tea, for reasons you mention and a few others. Some of thee very best people I’ve met, hung around, stayed amongst were in TX/OK/SD/TN/KY/NC/FL…. Simply my experience. I think we all get to a place in life, there’s just things we don’t want to put up with anymore, so we should try to live where it best fits our lifestyle, hobbies, and interest.

Prairie Creek State Park, my happy place. You can spend a week in there hiking and exploring. Your channel is an inspiration to me. As Adam S. Says “ just buy the damn bike” and I’m about too. 😎
I stayed in a room like that once. Kept my clothes on and slept for a few hours and got the hell out. Having an issue finding service for your bike is an interesting one. The number of HD dealerships is often touted as a reason for owning a HD. Your experience isn’t unique as I’ve had friends with Harleys have really bad experience at dealers in the SE. Like anything else, some good, some bad. I take my bike 80 miles further than the closest Ducati dealer to get good service but it also has 9k mile service intervals. Love the series and I hope you keep them going.

Oil is good for longer time if need be. Just top off till you can change it. Great ride thur the trees😊. You are so lucky. Slower pace of life out side of Cailf. 🎅🏼🏍🇺🇸

Loved n this video when it’s areas we’ve ridden. Now, what the hell at Redwood HD. Is that the dealership in Eureka? They’re closing? Isn’t that the dealership Adam stopped at? Wow. This has to be our favorite video yet on this trip. You could have flown your drone the entire time. No federal restrictions. Highway 1 is awesome down to Fort Bragg
Thanks man. I did check on the drone flight. State Wilderness Areas a prohibited for UAS flights. There were a few small pockets I could’ve launched but with minimal benefits. 🤷🏼♂️. I really do appreciate you following along in the series. 🤙🏻

Great video. I am born and raised in California and definitely agree with you about personalities of people here as compared to other places. Not everybody, but too many seem to have a severe mental problem.

My friends and I have noticed a steady decline in service standards in the US over the years (from Australia). It’s not just California, disinterested staff is the norm in our experience. It’s exacerbated by the requirement to tip even when the service is poor.

Great conclusion to a great series, enjoyed every last minute of it!! Good thing we don’t travel with ultra violet lights, we’d probably be very surprised, concerned, of what we would find in any of the hotel rooms we stay in, even in the nicer places too. Scary thought. Safe riding!!

You've given the perfect example of why HD's aren't so desireable to own, anymore... You should have asked or gone to any PowerSport dealership... bought 5 quarts of Mobil 1 V Twin 20w-50 at a Wal-Mart, and just asked them to drain the oil, and you'll refill it with the 4 to 4.5 qts it needs to get home, and just do the oil filter with the next oil change. Note and Log the odometer reading on the oil receipt and save the receipt. Fresh oil is far, far more important than a fresh oil filter.
🤔🤔🤔 not sure how you got to that conclusion. She made it all the way home without an issue. HD is more reliable than ever before.
The motel thing- one more... I stayed at a motel early this year and I found a condom on the floor by toilet.
Let's just say, it had been previously enjoyed!! 😂😂 ( motel was in Winslow, Az.) it wasn't really a good place to be… The Eagles were wrong... 😂😂

Slower pace doesn’t mean slower service. 25 minutes is a fucking joke, no way in hell it takes 25 minutes to make a coffee. GTFOH!! I live in a very small town and on a busy day it doesn’t take our Starbucks people anytime to push people down the line. The exact reason I moved from Seattle to Western Colorado((Not Denver).
A friend of mine stayed in that room and was corn holed multiple times.
