    Working in healthcare being able to have your watch on for 70 seconds without timing out works great when counting for heart rates or respiratory rates.

    • @BlissyAcKc
      @BlissyAcKc Před rokem +17

      Exactly, I didn't know it was an option to go to 70 and hated trying to count a baby's respirations by finding a clock hanging somewhere (different every dang room!). Fixed it to 70 now

    • @PayetteForward
      @PayetteForward  Před rokem +35

      SMART! That's probably where the 70 seconds came from... just over a minute; just long enough for a pulse!

    • @ajmilagros
      @ajmilagros Před rokem +11

      Use a timer! Do you want to do a full 1 min of resp counting? Set a 1 min timer, then you don’t t have to look at your watch - look at your pt and in 1 min the watch will vibrate the end. A colleague taught me this - it’s a game changer, especially with kids.

    what are the settings to make the optimized charge limit on apple watch ?

  • @mfree0
    @mfree0 Před rokem +98

    70 seconds is useful as a nurse who needs the display on for at least 60 seconds to take vital signs like heart rate per minute, respirations per minute, etc. Very annoying when you look at your wrist trying to get a pulse to take a heart rate and the Apple watch screen turns off. 70 seconds is perfect for medical professionals. Hope that answers your question.

    • @andrewmoor7747
      @andrewmoor7747 Před rokem +1

      I was thinking the same thing as a first responder. I NEED that second hand for at least 30 seconds for pulse (1-015 seconds) and for respiration (10-15 seconds) counts. and it sometimes takes a few seconds to set up for that check.

    • @badsabre5917
      @badsabre5917 Před rokem +1

      @@andrewmoor7747 they could have at least gave 3 options 15 seconds! 30 seconds and 60 seconds and it would have made more sense even for medical professionals.

    I've been using my Apple watch for several years so I was skeptical that I was gonna learn anything new, but just in case I watched and did learn some great tips! Thanks you guys know your stuff and present it well! As far as app display, I like honeycomb and my solution is to group the apps that I use most in a center cluster, but not corresponding to the apps I keep in the doc. This gives me quick access to two different set of frequently used apps.

  • @WittichWolf
    @WittichWolf Před 8 měsíci +8

    I like that honeycomb’s design more than the list of apps on Apple Watch, cause I can see all my important apps I will use daily on one screen without scrolling. If the apps order is alphabetical, I always have to scroll. There’s no chance to reorder the apps in the list view to have the important apps together on one screen.

    70 seconds, because health care workers like me sometimes have to manually take pulse data (electronic pulse data is always 15-second chunks, in patients with arrhythmia we take a full minute). 70 seconds gives me time to raise my wrist to get the second hand going and start counting.
