Turning a bread machine into a soup machine

- In whch yr hmbl svt does unspeakable things to a bread machine in an ill-advised and poorly-thought out attempt to do... something... with it.
This is a project I've been planning for a while, where I replace the motor in a cheap breadmaker with something with variable speed control and using it as a heated stirring device for making soup, jam, chutney, etc with it. I was originally planning on using a microcontroller, but for reasons of not electrocuting myself I opted not to.
Don't do this at home.
Note: since the creation of this video I have very successfully made soda bread in this machine and nothing has gone wrong. So far.

I found this video after watching your excellent smartwatch videos. Curiously, I'm currently doing a project to make yoghurt using Panasonic breadmakers, which is not unlike what you're doing here. The Panasonic boards also control the heater with a relay, and the motor with a triac. I'm replacing the whole high voltage board with one that has an ESP32S3. I'll control the board wirelessly with a web interface, which is something I did for a project to monitor the height of my sourdough starter. Like you, the mains stuff worries me. Please make more videos!
