  • This is a gentle therapeutic stretch for those of you with low back pain - or maybe you just slept wrong and your low back feels "ouch!" It's extremely beginner friendly - you don't need any props, or even any yoga experience. Let's stretch it out!

    Today we'll start with a little self assessment to help you figure out what's really going on with your low back! Really pay attention to which side of the low back feels more weighted, or more pulled down toward the earth. We're really going to focus on subtle motion that creates space in the low back and begins to release tension and imbalance. When working with low back pain, it's the most gentle, therapeutic movements that really have the greatest effect. I invite you to continue checking in with yourself throughout this class - constantly remain mindful of how your low back feels and what unlocks space and relaxation.

    Great video - thanks for making it. One thing, the volume level is really low I find - even on max volume on my laptop, I can't hear it easily. Otherwise, superb.

    I NOTICE MY BODY. Do you have a yoga routine for a rotated pelvis or one for a leg that does not track in alignment with the body? Or advice regarding natural treatment for this challenge this present imbalance? I love your channel, and admire your grace. Peace sister.🙏🏻☮💙

    Thanks for this session. My lower back was a little bit niggly before hand but I felt ok doing the moves. But 5 hours later my back was very bad, I have so much trouble bending down, even to sit.
    Is this a common thing to happen? Have I triggered my lower back I wonder. It’s bedtime now so hopefully it will settle overnight.
    Has anyone else had this happen to them?
