When I was horse shopping I said that I wasn't buying a Thoroughbred or a mare. I have a Thoroughbred mare now. Well, I bought her almost 17 years ago, and I still love her!

I’m so glad that you put this on. Even though it was a couple of years ago.
I have three also. I should only have two but it’s nice that whoever I leave behind has company. I just started collecting again last Feb(2023) my mother sold my collection when I was a teen in a garage sale when I was away.
Then recently I decided to start a new collection. I had tiny mites before. There were no stablemates in those days.
I now have over 400 stablemates and many need restoration. So I bought your course.
Thankful you’re in Canada.
I’m about half an hour away from Bassano, Ab. Near Arrowwood. I can see the dam lights from my porch. Only the Siksika reserve and the Bow river between my farm and Damtown(Bassano).
I have never regretted signing up for a Bridlehorse Clinic before. This year it conflicts with the show. So I’m sorry I won’t get to meet you.
I will be there in 2024 to show or help or whatever.
Perhaps I will shuttle folks from the airport to Bassano or something. Bobbie M. Will have a job for me I’m sure.

Your horses are beautiful! My 20y/o mare is used in games frequently and she doesn’t look or act her age! We are considering retiring her in the future, but right now she has no medical problems and doesn’t have a hard time moving around and she can run like a 5y/o.

I like Quarter Horses.They're like the Labrador Retrievers of the horse world.Drifter's a nice boy.I like all of them,though.Yoda's definitely the hot guy,lol.Marigold I liked at once in that hilarious unboxing video...she is kind of a weiner horse but it's cute,I like it.I wouldn't have had any idea that she was a senior citizen,except for the deep hollows above her eyes.You've obviously taken really good care of her.

For Marigold, my best guess would be maybe a Quarter Horse/Irish Draft/ maybe Holsteiner or Trakehner mix? She does look to have a bit of drafter in her and she has many similarities to an Irish Draft, with bigger hooves and the shorter neck.

Hi,yes, I see the quarter horse in her. Quarter horses are not a big horse. She could also be part thoroughbred to. I did ride a sorrel chestnut gelding much like her looks named Maybe for barrel racing. I rode and drove many breeds.She may be what they said but it's always good to DNA. Love Yoda,he looks like quarter horse to. All three look like quarter horse or mix. Real horses ARE lazy!🤣🤍 but if the bond is strong,they will do anything for you. they are great,Yoda is my favorite, I'm used to challenging horses.😍 I love grooming them and making them look like a million dollars. Thanks for sharing

Yoda is so much like my old horse. He has the same build and personality, but my Big Guy was dark bay. Marigold is a sweetie. She looks a lot like the old-fashioned backyard Tennessee Walkers I remember from my 4-H days, so she could be a crossbred QH/TWH. Drifter is a really nice horse, and I think liver chestnut is gorgeous. Complicated color patterns are great for models, but in real life a good horse can't be a bad color.

I think Marigold is a Belgian Quarter Horse cross. I'm not good at breeds but she has a very Belgian looking face. Also drifter is the prettiest bay I have ever seen.

Hahahaha the horse I ride Kona, is just like Drifter 😂 Very sweet but yesterday she didn’t wanna go to the cross ties and then I finally got her in the cross ties to untack her, then she started literally fighting wit me to walk away she was onto tied to one side of the cross ties and she kept just walking away while trying to bite me 😂

Marigold looks a lot like a Standardbred to me...trotter. Line gaited with a longer body so they don't interfere. Just a guess.
My horse was a rescued pacer named Johnny btw, lol. He was amazing. He made a quarter of a million dollars and earned a good retirement. He passed away a few years ago but he was quite unforgettable

Bacillus was named after Bacteria because he was created during the COVID pandemic. So I thought it was suiting. My boyfriend named Yorg. They usually name themselves :)

Have had 2 mares I raised from weanings , never had that mare problem even when I had my second boarded for training that had a black Egyptian Stallion near by . Looking to get another that is Crabbet bred .

She's got a very long back, the face definitely reminds me of draft horses but she has no height, she's mostly qh I'd say because she's heavily muscled. Seems unlikely to have walker in her due to the fact that she's too bulky and her head doesn't match, dunno if maybe her movements denote that a bit? who knows. I'd say if she does have draft it's a pretty small amount
