Hello everyone .
I really hope you’re all doing ok and you’re as safe as you can be at this very strange time .
I wanted to share a song with you all as I believe that in the darkest of times art and music are more important than ever .
i’m usually quite guarded about what I share of my personal life but I feel like I need to tell the story of this song for it to be fully understood …. (I’ll keep it brief)
Its called “the way that I love you” . I wrote it a little while ago for my girlfriend . At the time it just felt like a really sweet love song but unfortunately a few weeks later we ended up breaking up :-(
it was only then that I realised that it wasn’t just a love song but perhaps subconsciously my way of saying goodbye .
I hope this song helps anyone who has been through something similar , I hope it comforts you if you can’t be with the people you love at this time .
if it does resonate with you then please do me a favour and share it with people who might take comfort from it . Who might , just for a couple of minutes be taken away from all of this scary stuff …

My instinct in a time like this would be to go out and play and to get people together but obviously that is not going to happen …. So instead I’m going to do two things .
1.From this Sunday evening (7pm uk time) I will be doing a little live stream on my youtube channel . Just a few songs to help feel connected with you all . My intention is to then do it as a weekly thing … please if you would like to see it then make sure you subscribe !!
2.I will be spending some time everyday on facebook answering any comments and questions …. Its something I used to do years ago and had to stop as life got too busy …. its suddenly not as busy as it was …. A few years ago I was working in Brighton and after a hard days work my colleague and I found a nice pub, bought ourselves a drink and on a warm sunny summer evening and we sat outside chilling after our day of toil. My mother sent me this song just right now in honour of her immense love towards her first daughter, who's now living alone in another city in order to make a living. She knows that I have been through some hell of trying to fit the idea of a perfect person that is deemed by people around me, who are constantly demanding me to do this-that, and eventually losing myself. I lost track on who I was before this particular chapter of my life began. Things that used to add happiness into my days like writing, dancing randomly and wander around the city don't do their magic anymore. It's crazy how trying to please several people equal the scarification of the things that used to spark my soul.
This song is a reminder that my mother is hurting, seeing me like this. This song shall be my starting stone to get back to myself, again. Without having to lose my tenderness and love toward the world, here I go re-claim my soul.

The Passenger will always make me think of Paris. Last October I was in the city of love on my own and as an habitual solo traveller, I loved it. It's really not possible for the legend that is passenger, to do a bad song. Every single song he writes and sings really feels like it's the first ever time I've heard his voice (and I saw him at the Brighton Dome September 2021 😍) and every lyric is so real to each and every one of us in this life and has such a unique and special way of putting me 'in the moment' in life, which we all know is so hard to do - to fully clear your head of everything and 'be' in any given moment is a rare and precious gift. Pure peace and love 💕

One guy said the same things like this song to me. He always compliments me in his shy style. When I feel not confident and unworthy, he always said that I didn't need to change anything; I was gorgeous in my way. That's all the sweet words he said to me. I love the way he talks and cares for me. But in the end, we couldn't start the relationship. Even I am really in love with him-everything between us is just a sweet story in our lives. We can't be together. There are so many things that make us more hurt if we are together. So I let him go. Having him in my life was incredible. I learn to accept who I am. Your words make me alive again. If there's a second life, I would love to be born again as your neighbour. So I can know you longer and spend more time with you. Hopefully, our stories can be different in that life.
