- After seeing our family in Busan, we headed to Jeju island for a few days. During our time here, we hired a personal taxi driver, which made traveling MUCH easier for us with Carter!
We were able to spend time at Seopjikoji (섭지코지), which is where we discovered these FRESH & DELICIOUS seafood stands (섭지코지 올인휴게소)! As you can see in the video, it is very similar to Noryangjin Fisheries, where you can see them prepare it in front of you. If you love seafood, I recommend you stop by when walking the Seopjikoji trails.
After Seopjikoji, we went to Aqua Planet! Carter really enjoyed seeing sharks and watching the show. It was such an emotional moment when we saw Carter's eyes light up while watching the show~ 🥹👨👩👦
Lastly, we went to Baekma Garden (백마가든) to try out horse meat for the first time. I know this isn't for everyone, but why not try it while in Jeju. We had horse tartare, sashimi, bbq, and horse soup! Honestly, I still like my pork belly instead of horse meat, but at least I tried it out, right?
It is a blessing to travel, meet families, and eat delicious food with Wifey & Carter. Thank you for watching & following along during our time in Korea! 🇰🇷✈️

Oh, the poor horse. I suppose the horsed do have to be culled. I did have pony meat when i was a teenager. Jeju Island looks wonderful.
You should try the black pig bbq while in Jeju, best pork I've ever tasted.
Love how ur wife is real but yet understand the culture. When I say real is I have reacted to most things the same as her food wise.
Thanks for sharing, Chris! So many years in Korea but I never made it to Jeju-do.

Mahalo for sharing your Korean trip. Nice to more of Korea then shows my wife watches.😆
🤣🤣 what does your wife watch?
@Chef Chris Cho she watched the glass slippers a hundred times she just got done watching the business proposal, and now she's watching tomorrow, and she got me a video called " All in" she said I'm going to like it. She said it's an oldie. We'll see. I'm going to start it when I start my vacation. 😆😅
Love you Chris!! Food looks delicious!
Thanks Ethan!!!
It was super delicious 🤤
Beautiful family. I enjoyed your video. Please tell your wife, I don't care for horse also.
Thank you, I will 🙏🏼
Man oh man, I wanna eat my way through Korea with you, your wife, and son. Jeju was one of the few places I didn’t get to when I lived in Korea. 🥲 when your wife was tearing up with Carter at the aquarium.
😭 it was such a heartfelt moment!! You must visit next time you’re in Korea!
Wifey is my girl- she tells it like it is!! Love her!

Hi! Loved watching your experience in Jeju! Would you be able to share who you used for the private taxi service in Jeju?
Sowie, I actually dont know since my friend arranged it for me. But I see a lot of reliable ones online if you search Private Taxi Jeju🙏🏼
💚
I'm with wifey...even if it tastes good I'd feel too bad to eat it. But I'm all about trying new things...the struggle!
Thanks for sharing!
Lol your wife’s face when you ate the horse meat was exactly my face. But to each their own!
So fun watching your family enjoy in Korea!
😅😅 i thought she would like it….
Love that you tried something you have never eaten before. Very brave, I don't know if I could do it. Good for you though. 👍🏽
Haha I almost backed out but it’s a thing here and I’m not sure when I’ll ever be back to jeju so had to try it 🙏🏼
That is the biggest hook thingy thing. I’ve ever seen! I forget what they’re called but I have them for my keys to attach to my person etc. where did you obtain that big one! 😂
What hook thingy??
"More for me" lolllll

Honestly, I wish I was Carter 😭
Adopt me lol

Been there. Wish I never came back. Love the beer and soju on every meal.
The combo is always firee
I always encourage people to use their ethnic names here in Canada. I never liked it when my mother wanted my to change my name to accommodate the Anglophones... they can learn how to say my Nordic name. Lol. We have a lot of Korean living in London, Ontario and I am so please that they keep their Korean names.
Mis respetos Chef! You went all in with the horse meat. I'm with wifey on this one, it would most likely be a no for me 🤭.
😅 i actually like pork belly more.
Hi, my family are looking for private cab as well while travelling in seoul and jeju. If you don’t mind me asking, what’s the name/how to get the private cab while in jeju?
Thanks!
Hey Ruth, my friend actually found the private cab for me in Jeju. I don’t have the name or number of it…. Sorry 🙏🏼
I do see a lot of trust worthy one’s online though. Hope you can find one!!!
Janet's face after eating the horse meat 😂
😫 and i told her she’ll like it. Guess not
Doesn’t get any fresher then that. Cost a fortune to eat that same lvl of quality in America
Jeju is known for horse and pheasant meat
Yep, first time trying horse meat.. but still like pork belly more
I would definitely be interested in trying both of those! And I'm already a big fan of Jeju black pig of course 😅
