The dark web is often a platform for criminal activity and Day shared important tips to keep your private information from falling into the wrong hands. He also demonstrated the types of things that are secretly purchased and sold through the dark web and discussed the dangers of getting involved in this type of commerce. Derrick Day is currently a Senior Forensic Examiner for a successful computer forensics company. He is a retired Senior Special Agent with the US Secret Service. He has participated in the investigation and prosecution of countless financial and cyber crime investigations. The Dark Web is based on using a secure communication that is encrypted like Tor because it has the ability to use proxies. A VPN alone doesn't guarantee you that you will visit the Dark Web. Many people believe that by obscuring your IP, it can help you avoid detection, but it's not true, so don't get this confused.

He made a strong contradiction towards the end. He justified the use of the dark web to break the laws of other countrires( of course i can understand that and agree) BUT his argument regarding the previous examples where supported by legal logic. So he kind of contradicted himself badly imo.
No, he at no point discourages using it for information or communication, which is the main reason to circumvent governments with strict laws about such things. He argues not to buy anything, not because of a legal reason but because you can't trust what you're getting.
He does *mention* that the pharmacy is an illegal pharmacy, but only as supporting his main argument that you cannot trust the product.
