- During her 2017 Artist Residency with Berklee India Exchange (BIX), celebrated Indian vocalist Shreya Ghoshal presented a one-of-a-kind master class at the Berklee Performance Center. Moderated by BIX Artistic Director Annette Philip, this multifaceted master class is part interview, part demonstration, and part live student workshop. In this five episode series, each segment features one student workshop with input, stories, and demonstrations by Ms. Ghoshal.

After watching this,I think Shreya should and deserves to be the judge of Indian Idol.She sees the latent talent which other faaltu judges can't see.
CAN WE ALL AGREE THAT SHREYA GHOSHAL IS THE BEST SINGER OF THIS GENERATION.
That student was so brave can you imagine the pressure . and when the host sang the tune it sounded like a jazz tune. Fascinating.
How detail she goes in.. How perfectly she teaches.. And how independently she says to sing! Such a charming personality you have Shreya! I am always in awe!

Her advices are just simply superb. She knows how to advice without affecting the confident, motivation and feelings of each singers. I always know her as a singer but today I know she also a very good mentor.

wow after shreya told her she i really liked her husky kind of voice and the way she interpreted the song in her own style !! before it looked more of an immitation of original song but this sounds really great wow !! great teacher is queen shreya !
Shreya is such a serious musician, I did not know before. But she is such a considerate guide! Genres are the commitment a singer makes to. Underlying every genre is the basic sound Training in music. Tempo for pop music has to be rock solid.
The song selection has been great so far....I just hope that one of the remaining two sing Jaadu Hain Nasha Hain🤞🤞
I am convinced she is the best teacher one could have. Not forcing, or teaching a particular way of art...she is letting the artist have their own individuality ❤
