Larry needs to bring back the LLBLUEJAY tag and run falco in tourney to win. Then I will love him more.
That Rivers game 1 is living proof that mental game is so important, and when you have a character like terry who immediately puts your opponent into fight or flight mode and makes them panic air dodge, fatfinger misinputs, and even miss a hit confirm as free as banana, that literally elevates the character on the tier list because it's directly attacking the flaw we have as humans and our limits to playing perfectly every single time all the time. Terry in last hit scenario is best character in the game other than maybe ness probably. Ness has back throw and a bunch of killing Ariels, Terry has no KT but has go

I adore Riddles hes out here using, who I think, are the 2 coolest characters in this game.
IMO Kazuyas the least cool fighting game characters he’s still cool. Def top 20 coolest but I just find the other 3 cooler
I would say
1. Terry
2. Ken
3. Ryu
4. Kazuya
(Although Ryu and Ken are pretty interchangeable I like ryus moves more but just based off kens speed I gotta give the slight edge to him)
The reason why I think Kazuyas the least cool is prolly due to a couple reasons
Sound design
His grounded playstyle
Bad neutral
Combos do way too much damage

@@axelnilsson2031 His sound design is cool, I like his grounded playstyle, I don’t think bad neutral is a cool thing for a character to have and most of his combo’s damage can get pretty obnoxious.

Not fun to play against though, and needing to consistently do a 2 frame AT with him for him to be useful at all does not mesh with the smash game design philosophy at all. Releasing a DLC character that almost no one is going to be able to use is stupid.
Imo doing EWGF is way easier on a ps controller because then you don't have to use an analog stick for it, you can just use the cross. The GameCube and Pro Controller are very awkward for that kind of tech and doing the dash thing and EWGF on them feels horrible.
Also: Kazuya should not have that auto turnaround, it's not in Tekken so there's no reason for it to be in Smash.

I discovered how good this character was recently my high school has some damn good players and one of them is a solo terry and a can't hold shield and I have to pick a spasific character if I want to punish him for mashing on my shield and I literally can't edge guard him and he makes it look like Terry's recovery isn't an issue and I use sephiroth mainly for that matchup

Can anyone confirm if Dabuz is a terrible human? His character choices and how he maneuvers doesn't look fun to play as or against
Dabuz is a cool dude with a fun personality, but his character choices are definitely not most people’s favorite. He’s also admitted on an episode of Hot Juans that he deliberately plays the mental game and tilts his opponents. One could argue that that’s lame, but mentality is extremely important in Smash and it’s fair game to take advantage of it in a competitive setting
